3.要注重修改。文章写成后，决不能匆忙交稿，必须从头至尾进行细致的检查。一是要检查文章是否达到了题目的要求；二是要检查上下文是否连贯、句子衔接是否自然流畅；三是要时态、语态、语气运用是否合适；四是要检查单词书写是否正确，是否有大小写、拼写、标点错误等。在写作中，由于作文处于最后的位置，一些学生往往匆忙写完，急忙交卷，出现的问题也就不能被及时发现。
总之，写作能力的提高是一个循序渐进的过程，不可能一蹴而就。作为英语教师，必须通过增加积累、强化训练、传授技巧等多种方式，才能达到提高学生写作能力的目的。
