二、学生英语写作中面临的主要困难和存在的主要问题
本人经过了两轮的高中英语教学。从平时作业的批阅以及与学生的交流当中总结出学生英语写作的困难主要有语言的表达(包括词汇,语法,思维方式)和作文的内 容、结构(包括如何开头、结尾和选择恰当的展开方式)两大方面。平时学生的习作中普通反映出以下的问题:写作内容贫乏,用汉语思维方式遣词造句、组段谋篇、文句支离破碎、缺乏衔接、语法错误多以及不符合英语国家文化习惯等。

利用多媒体提高作文教学效果

作文其实是一个信息输入、储存、加工和输出的过程。在实施新课程的今天,随着现代作文教学理念的更新,以及多媒体辅助教育技术的日臻完善,作文教学的方法和途径也在发生前所未有的变化。利用多媒体,辅助作文教学,可以明显的提高习作教学的效果。
一、激活情感,诱发写作热情
多媒体集图像、文字、声音、动画于一体,在渲染气氛、创设环境、再现情景等方面具有传统媒体不可替代的优势,它的内容都源于学生们的亲身经历和平时的耳闻目睹,或展现优美的画面,或展示感人的瞬间,或展现活动的过程,这样极易唤醒学生的情感,打开记忆的阀门,产生不吐不快的表达需要。如:写“爱心”话题,结合学校开展的“献给老师的爱”,“我为妈妈过生日”等活动,利用搜集、摄制的照片、录音、录像资料,制作合成多媒体课件,再现父母、老师关爱的场面,以及同学们活动的镜头。真实的场景唤醒了学生的情感,个个跃跃欲试,而此时让学生静心思考:你看了以上片段有什么感受?你最想说的是什么?自由选题,自主写作,《妈妈,我爱你》、《老师,我对你说》、《我为妈妈过生日》等等,学生有感而发,写来水到渠成。学生的感受不同,习作往往多彩纷呈。作文和育心有机结合是我们作文教学的目标之一,而借助多媒体,在作前点燃、激活学生的情感,无疑能起到事半功倍的作用。
二、优化观察、丰富心智表象
观察是学生获取事物信息的重要渠道。多媒体辅助教学以其生动的画面、斑斓的色彩、逼真的声音和自由检索的功能,给学生一种如临其境、如闻其声、如见其人的感觉,使事物的表象更加清晰,从而使表达更具体。同时,潜移默化的教会了学生观察的视角和方法。
1、有利于整体观察。小学生的观察不善于发现事物之间的联系,不善于从整体上把握事物的特点,常常出现以偏概全的现象。如:写《参观马蹄寺》、《国庆节见闻》等题材的作文,学生往往是见人不见物或者是见物不见人。电视、录像等视频资料无一不是以最佳的视角真实的再现了生活的场景,用它们采集制作而成的多媒体课件,运用快放、慢放、定格播放的功能,对指导学生全面、整体的观察是十分有效的。
2、有利于局部观察。小学生观察中的最大问题是粗枝大叶,抓不住重点和特点。如果用多媒体课件的形式从不同角度对观察对象加以展示,有利于学生养成定向观察的习惯,发现事物的特征和细节。如:描写《荷花池》,学生通过现场观察获得了许多感性的认识,但是都比较凌乱,琐碎。用媒体播放的形式,按荷塘全景——荷花——荷叶——蜻蜓、青蛙、蜜蜂的顺序,要求学生仔细观察一遍,特别是对荷花、荷叶等荷塘局部景物,用定格、放大的图片让学生观察,学生会有一种豁然开朗的感觉,已有的感知体验也会变得更加清晰、形象,描写起来会更细致、具体,达到“有骨有肉”的境界。
3、有利于过程观察。“不识庐山真面目,只缘身在此山中”是学生写记事、活动类文章的特点,运用媒体制作成精彩片段回放的形式,让学生回顾活动、游戏或者生活的精彩片段记住重点内容;再进行快速回放,把握事情的主线,同时产生一些平时观察中不易获得的理性的思考。多种感官协同参与,长久训练,培养了学生对生活的敏感性和思辩能力,帮助他们挖掘生活中视而不见的的生活内容,从而发展他们从生活中获取写作素材的能力。
三、再现场景,拓展想象空间
写作离不开想象,想象可以使文章内容更充实、更生动感人。想象又是以已有表象为基础的。多媒体的具体形象性、强大的情景创设功能、动态演绎功能,在积累表象、发展想象能力方面有着得天独厚的优势。
1、利用单幅图片,扩展想象。采用“留白”的形式,可以留头、留尾、留中间,分别提供相应的场景或图片。通过丰富的色彩,栩栩如生的画面,优美的音乐来有效的烘托气氛,创设环境。学生边听边看边想,引发他们的联想开拓他们的作文思路,一步一步深入想象,该事物的来龙去脉、人物语言、神态、心理活动等,最后写作就水到渠成了。如改写古诗《黄鹤楼送孟浩然之广陵》,提供画面黄鹤楼上李白把酒向孟浩然,话外音《送别》。看着画面,受着音乐的感染,学生的联想展开了:为什么送别?怎样送别?李白怎么想、怎么说?孟浩然怎么想、说、做的?很容易的就写了出来。
2、利用多幅图片或场景,组合想象。可以提供完整的几幅画面或者故事的几个场景,然后由学生揣摩人物的语言、心理、动作以及故事发展的经过。这种练习可以由学生自由组合图片,不同的组合也就构成了不同的故事情节。如提供四幅图:一位先生、一群在街上散步的人、一朵云、一所房子,让学生自由组合图片,想象故事的情节。然后进行动画演示,使故事的情节更加清晰、具体。
3、练习写解说词。利用摄制的活动、游戏或者短剧的录象资料,抹去解说词、对白、配上背景音乐,让学生描述活动经过、练写解说词。因为画面主体形象突出,活动过程清晰,为知识迁移架设了桥梁,想象起来也比较容易。
四、直观评改,提高评改效果
评改是作文训练的重要环节,它能指导和帮助学生分析、运用写作素材,找出作文的优缺点,从而不断提高作文的质量。多媒体的运用更好的发挥了学生的主体性来参与作文评改,将“你的一个思想、我的一个思想”揉合成了“我们的两个思想”,提高了讲评效果。一是作中评改。学生写完一段可以重新播放动画,让学生配乐朗读自己的文章,其他同学边听边记下修改意见,然后组织交流。这时,教师再从用词、炼句、主题等方面进行评改,“现炒现买”学生易懂易记,便于对照修改。二是作后评改。可以用充足的时间,挑选好、中、差不同的习作,制成多媒体幻灯片,在电子阅览室供师生共同评改,评改中同学间可以相互辩驳、相互讨论,也可以调阅其他同学的评改。再同媒体同步朗读,只要文从字顺、感情自然真实,一般都能获得同学的好评。这样在生生互动、师生互动的作文评改中,使学生分析、运用写作素材的能力得到增强,同时享受了习作成功的乐趣。
