这几年当地的果子品质下降了，加上市场疲软，每年五亩果园的收入不及过去的五分之一，我们常劝父亲要么换成别的果树，要么就把果树挖了，种点粮食，全是机械化耕作，人也轻松。可是父亲坚决不同意，理由是他和这些果树有了感情，再说果园里除了苹果树外，还有许多别的果树，从每年的5月中旬开始，果园里就有成熟的果子供我们食用，草莓、杏、桃、葡萄、梨、枣、石榴、柿子……凡是北方有的水果在我们五亩果园里都可以看到、吃到，而且有些水果还分早熟和晚熟，这些水果成熟后要么送给我们，要么送给村邻、亲戚。父亲基本上给这些特殊的水果树不施化肥，他说化肥会影响甜度和品质，所以他就用杂草等沤肥……
