What are the 3 important factors of a narrative introction?
Narrative writing is a form of writing that tells a story or part of a story. The general characteristics of narrative writing include plot structure, such as introction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Narrative writing also includes conflict, characterization, setting, theme, point of view, sequencing, and transitions. Narrative writing appears in novels, short stories, biographies, autobiographies, historical accounts, essays, poems, and plays. These stories are also characterized by the passage of time organized in chronological order, and the writer may use past or present tense, first or third person to tell
the story.
A good narrative involves readers in the story, relates events in sequence, presents important changes, contrasts, or conflicts and creates tension, and communicates a main idea or dominant impression.
