童年的趣事犹如夜空中的繁星一样多，最让我记忆犹新的还是童年玩沙子的事。
记得以前每次周末，我都要跟朋友一起去小区的沙坑里玩沙子。每次，我们都拿着铲子，提着沙桶去玩。
我们有时候堆沙堡。由于上面的都是干沙子，堆不成，我们拿着铲子使劲地铲，铲倒底下的湿土层。然后一点一点地往桶里铲，等铲满了再往边上一扣，把桶一拿，就出现了一个城堡的雏形。再用铲子雕刻上门、窗、瞭望台等，一个精致的沙堡就做好了。
我们有时候也在沙坑里“寻宝”。有一次，我们竟然挖到了一个熊大，我们决定再把它藏到沙坑里。我们挖到了沙坑的底部，还觉得不安全。我们经过讨论，决定挖一个地道。我们又从底部挖了个洞往前延伸，开始只有一个大拇指那么宽，里面却非常大，都可以放下十个熊大了！我们又怕放在那里不安全，于是在地洞的四周放上了砖，把我们寻来的“宝物”放到了中间。为了安全，我们还在地道的四周都做了一些“陷阱”，其实就是把沙子挖到最底部，在它的上面撒些沙子做掩盖，只要踩到上面，就会踩空。我们玩得不亦乐乎，竟然忘了时间，一抬头才发现天已经黑了，看了一下表，竟然已经七点了，我们赶紧回家。回到家，发现手上已经磨出几个水泡，正在隐隐作痛，但我的心里却很快乐。

河师大的英语专业是王牌专业啊，好好复习！
基础英语，就是考查你的英语基础，这门课高分不容易，不过至少也得过线吧。一般考查词汇和语法。阅读和作文这两个题型基本上是每个学校都有的。
1. 背单词
在决定要考英语专业硕士之后，一直要做的，一定坚持要做的就是背单词。把单词背个4、5是正常的（可惜我没做到）。背单词推荐英语专业四、八级词汇表（上外教育出版社）、英语专业考研核心词汇（兴界图书出版公司，有环球雅思标志的那个）、刘毅单词。刘毅的单词很多人推荐，我自己看过也觉得不错，具体用哪个词汇量的看报考的学校水平和自身水平了，许多人觉得多多益善，但考研要求的是精益求精，如果不是考北上广外及南大厦大这样的学校用不着特别大的词汇量。我主要用的是英语专业考研核心词汇，大三就在图书馆借了，后来买了个考上上外的学姐的（借她的好运）。专八词汇也背过一遍。英语专业四、八级词汇表是市面上所有专八单词书的源头，这是专八考试的词汇大纲，尤其推荐英语专业的同学用这本，过后的专八单词也解决了。每页划出的生词要尽量少，然后再背，再记，让你的单词书越来越厚，剩下的生词越来越少。至于背单词的方法，那就是不论用什么方法，记下来会用是最终目的。
2. 语法
语法是我最弱的一项，没什么资格评说。想打基础的可以做一下专四的语法、词汇部分。不会的地方查语法书。推荐我们的课本，新编英语语法教程（外研社），现在出到第五版了。这本书有长期保留的价值。
3. 阅读
首先我不推荐的是考研英语阅读，那个思路有时候实在是匪夷所思。其次，平时练习的话专四、专八阅读都可以。雅思的阅读似乎不是很合适，托福的自己没做过不知道。GRE阅读个人觉得没太大必要，不过长难句可以看看，对阅读和翻译都有帮助。报考学校水平很高的要做。有的学校会有一篇相对长的阅读，基础好了一样做，阅读技巧都是一样的。
多看报刊杂志，推荐报纸chinadaily，杂志economist。北京周报，很遗憾我没有坚持看这个。后来专八辅导的老师也推荐这个，有些过往话题专八作文可能会考。
4. 作文
如果作文不好，多加练习提分是很快很有效的。有条件的童鞋可以每周写，自己改后让同学老师帮着再改。两周一篇，最不济一个月也要写一篇吧……我是按照专八的作文练，因为专八也是400字的。也可以拿报纸上的话题来练。非要准备模板的话，开头结尾过渡词准备一下就够了。写几个出彩的句子基本上就足够了。单词拼写错误是肯定扣分的。
多看看外国人写的论述文、议论文，写的时候语言就是不是很出彩也一定要清晰有条理，自圆其说。
5. 二外
有个别学校，如北外，是考二外的。那二外一定要非常重视，二外分数好了基本上就没大问题了。因为二外很少有辅导班，基本上都是靠自己了。自己找真题什么的去做吧。
总结：
各校基础英语这门课差别很大的。有本环球雅思系列的基础英语，我一直在图书馆借，感觉比较有用。也买了外研社的基础英语试卷。星火的虽然更多一点但是专业的老师对星火系列的参考答案很是质疑，所以不推荐。王长喜老师出的英语系列也不错，可以去看看
