Li Yong, once a good student, became a very disappointing one. Having realized that, he carved some encouraging words on the desk to show his determination, which gave Li Hua a mixed feeling.
Li Hua, a good friend of Li Yong’s, was moved by his words, for the words showed he has realized his fault and decided to change. It also shows he is responsible and can face his mistakes bravely.
However, curving on a desk is not right at all. If I were the desk, I would tell him: the knife carving hurts me and makes me look ugly. As the public property of our school, you should love me.
