It is a serious social problem that most of the only children become selfish and reluctant to make friends with others. To be honest, I am one of them and I have realized its consequences.
From my point of view, the main reason is the parents’ over love and over protection. The other reason is about us. So parents should allow more space to us, which would help us be more independent and confident in dealing with others. Besides, it is essential for us to change our behaviors. We can participate in more activities, give a hand to our classmates in need or just communicate with others. As long as we keep it up, we are sure to overcome this difficulty.
