Q1:我也觉得可以。不过6级确实和人事部二级的要求不一样吧。先说笔译，我是英语专业的，只考过专四、专八，没有看过6级的题，不知道难度怎么样。不过我想专八肯定比6级难吧。我和同级的一些同学一起考了09年11月的人事部二级笔译，6个人过了3个，而且都是紧贴分数线（60）过的。基本上练习多了笔译的综合能力部分是没问题的，就靠词汇、语法和阅读什么的，很常规。不过实务（也就是翻译）有很多人都是50几分。这个还是得多多练习啊，我们系有开翻译课程所以也系统学了点。所以你在练习的同时最好也看看翻译教程，可以学习学习翻译的技巧。
至于口译嘛，不知道你学过口译没有。这个通过率极其低哦。我觉得，没有一两年的练习——包括笔记（可以看看林超伦的实战口译），数字的练习，反应能力等，我觉着还是不要贸然报。我们系有人考了两三次都不过的，挺浪费钱的。现在还好，500多一次，以前近一千呢。
Q2：这个看个人吧。我考笔译的时候真正准备就是考前一周把模拟题做了一遍，练练综合那部分，还有卡卡翻译的时间。不过那段时间我们一直在上翻译等课，自己也在准备考研的翻译，所以应该对翻译有很大帮助的。我觉得如果想要有把握的话，提前3个月或以上准备吧。或者你可以先找一套模拟题做下，估算下自己大概能得多少分，再看看报什么时候的也可以。推荐外文出版社卢敏主编的教材。不过这是说笔译哦，口译我觉得真不好说。
Q3：反正多一个证总是能证明点实力的。不过你在报社如果是主管中文方面的话，我觉得有和没有没多大区别的吧。
