❻ 如何组织初中英语课堂上的口语教学

【摘要】英语既是活的语言，也是枯燥无味的语言。如何激发学生的学习英语的兴趣，提高初中学生的英语水平呢？笔者从四个方面谈谈：①关爱学生，帮助学生端正学习态度，明确学习目的；②充分调动学生的积极性，培养口语学习兴趣；③创设交际情境，使教学过程交际化；④英语课堂教学活动力求多样化，综合提高英语口语能力。
【关键词】初中英语英语课堂口语教学激发兴趣
英语既是活的语言，也是枯燥无味的语言。如何激发学生的学习英语的兴趣，提高初中学生的英语水平呢？显然，搞好口语教学是英语教学的关键。初中英语的教科书中口语内容有很大比重，如：问路、看病、打电话、购物等，口语篇幅贯穿于教材的始终，突出了英语最本质的功能――交际性。那么，如何进行口语教学呢？我想从以下四个方面谈谈：
1.关爱学生，帮助学生端正学习态度，明确学习目的
爱心与耐心是学生转换的又一个前提。英语的词汇量大，尤其是新教材词汇量更多，再加上许多句型及短语也要记忆，学生学起来本身就有一定的难度，因此需要我们的教师多给一点爱心和耐心。我们应该做到“好看的要爱，有伤疤的更要怜惜。”只要每一个教师对每一个学生都充满信心，感情诚心，献出爱心，工作耐心。就能达到较好的教学目的，收到较好的教学效果。英语教师只有得到学生的认可，学生学起来才有积极性，如果一个教师一站到讲台上学生就对这科感到反感，甚至望而生畏，又怎能学好呢？
2.充分调动学生的积极性，培养口语学习兴趣
兴趣是最好的老师。学生的最佳学习状态往往出现在他对所学内容感兴趣的时候。那么如何培养学生的兴趣呢？方法有很多：
2.1营造良好的课堂气氛。良好的课堂气氛能使学生消除过于紧张的焦虑情绪，处于最佳的学习状态。教师在课堂上先用简单易懂的英语与学生进行交流，并适时组织各种各样的活动，如：猜谜、做游戏、听英语歌曲、讲一个英语小笑话等，将英语课上得引人入胜，学生学的兴趣盎然，乐于开口，自然而然就加速了口语能力的提高。
2.2建立良好融洽的师生关系。新型的师生关系应该是一种相互尊重、相互交流、相互理解的互动过程。教师要对教学充满激情，丰富的表情、幽默的语言，一举手一投足都会创造一种和谐的交际氛围，激发学生愉快的情感，使他乐于开口说英语。
2.3平等对待每一个学生，培养学生自信心。学生开口讲英语，即希望得到老师的肯定，又害怕出错而羞于尝试。这时，教师及时的肯定和鼓励就显得尤为重要。一个默许的眼神，一句鼓励的话语，一份由衷的赞许，都能极大地调动学生开口说英语的积极性，在实践中树立学好英语的自信心。
3.创设交际情境，使教学过程交际化
英语教学主要是在课堂中进行的。英语教师应尽力创设或寻找一些真实或半真实的交际情景，让学生置身于情境之中，进入角色。情境创设方法多样。可用实物情境法、图画情境法、环境情境法、体态情境法、多媒体情境法等等。具体操作如下：
3.1借用实物创设情境。
3.2通过图画创设情境。
3.3利用环境创设情境。
3.4运用体态语创设情境。
3.5巧用现代媒体创设情境。
4.英语课堂教学活动力求多样化，综合提高英语口语能力
初中阶段的英语课堂活动极大多数是围绕教学内容、旨在培养学生交际能力的各种听说活动。教师要积极开展学生喜闻乐见的各种活动，为每一个学生提供更多开口说英语的机会，使学生在活动中通过交流和合作，锻炼听说交际能力。课堂活动形式多样，可以采用小组练习，即“群口相声”；两人一组，即“对口相声”；个人练习，即“单口相声”等，方法可以有：
4.1值日报告。每节课拿出5分钟时间，用英语谈论今天天气，或讲一个故事，或报道一条新闻，或介绍学校的一项活动，或推荐一本好书……题材不限。只要学生有话可说，有感可发，“台下”学生也得到了听英语的机会。
4.2交际游戏。这种活动就是把学生置于一种游戏时的情景中。交际游戏多种多样，可以使学生在轻松愉快的环境学习和掌握语言。例如：老师拿一张图片，让学生在不看图片的情况下，通过向老师提问猜测图片是什么。或者以小组活动的方式进行，小组中一位学生手拿图片或设想一个情景让其他同学猜测。
4.3完成故事。这种活动是把课文分成两部分或几部分，要求每位学生只看其中的一部分，然后要求他们通过向组内其他同学提问的方式完成整个故事。教材中的课文都可用来进行这种形式的口头交流。
4.4扮演角色。就是让学生扮演一个角色，如警官、售货员等；设想一种情景，如购物、安排晚会等，在这样的情境中进行模拟交际训练。练习完每课对话之后，可请一对学生临时编排相似的对话或把全班学生配对，让所有学生同时编排相似的对话进行训练。课本上有许多话题都是很好的表演材料。让学生边学边演，知识掌握轻松自如，还能自编台词，达到了口语锻炼之目的。
当然，冰冻三尺非一日之寒，培养学生的口语能力亦非一日之功，为了能让每一个学生开口说好英语，教师也应该注重自身英语水平尤其是口语水平的提高。同时，培养学生的口语能力仅仅依靠课堂教学是远远不够的，还需要教师认真指导好学生的课外学习，这些都是应该注意的问题。
