选B肯定是对的，但前面说法是错的，8-year-old 只能做定语，是定语形容词，放在名词之前，因为空的后面是名词girl，所以要选定语形容词，所以此题选B。
而8 years old是一个表语形容词，它后面不能再加名词了，也就是说不能放在名词前，只能放在系动词后做表语，如：the girl is 8 years old.
