经验告诉我们，英语学习其实并无捷径和秘诀可寻。只有实践才能不断地提升口语水平。总有人会问道，学英语既没时间有没有合适的环境，感觉无从下手，工作中却有屡遭语言关的打击，这成为了不少职场精英发展的瓶颈。为此，IBS英语老师根据多年的教学经验总结了实用学习良方："五官"并用：英语既是一门外国语言，学习时便应"眼心手口耳"并用，也就是说用眼睛观察！用心去记！手要精写！嘴要开口！耳要倾听！亲自查词典：遇到不认识的词，或是印象模糊不敢肯定的，必须要亲自去查词典。经过翻阅词典，其影响要比别人告诉你增加好几倍。如果再按照"眼心手口"的方法写几遍，念几遍那就更好了，也许很快就能把词记住。有些人一再要求把生词的发音和解释注明，认为这样可以免查词典，省去好多麻烦。殊不知，这种偷懒心理，不但不会给你帮助，反而害了你自己。遇词需留心：学英语要无时无刻的学，随时随地的学，并不是完全靠书本上的课文来学，因为有许多词是课本上没有的。例如，商品上的商标，物品的说明书，报纸上的标题，电影的译名，机关的名称等都是可以随见随学，随学随记，无形之中就增加许多词汇。口语随时练：就是遇到机会便去练习，因为"practice makes perfect"。你看到外国人到中国来，就是临时用拼音学了几个字或短语，他们也要找机会应用一番。你常会听到外国人用生硬的语调说：谢谢你好再见。然而你并没有去笑话他们那种怪发音，相反你还赞佩他们的勇气和好学精神，而我们中国人则不然。本来有机会可以练习，但是大多数人都非常羞口。记住：即使别人笑你爱表现也不要介意，因为进步勇气成就都是你的，别人无法夺取。英语日记：不需长篇大论，只要每天能写50 到100 词的笔记，也是好的。但是每天写时，不能千篇一律，必须每天要用些新的词，新的开头，新的思路来写。如果写日记的范围太小或是一些事情没有什么意思，也可以每天从报纸上或杂志上选几条标题或是小方块文章来试着翻译，也会使你词汇不断增加和扩大。总之，英语是语言交流的工具。工欲善其事，必先利其器！
