口语交际是人们运用口头语言进行交谈、演讲、辩论等的一种言语交际活动。日常生活中，与人交往，不但要会听，会说，还得讲究文明礼貌。由此可见，口语交际是一种综合素质。小学语文教学的主要目的是指导学生学习、掌握母语这一交际的工具。因此教师在进行口语交际教学时必须正确把握。在此，我简单谈谈自己的一点认识：凡是有人际交往的地方就可以进行口语交际的教学，这是由母语学习的广泛性决定的。生活就是口语交际的内容，口语交际就是生活的工具，所以口语交际训练的途径是多样的。
一、口语交际专题训练
通过教材中的专题训练，使学生比较系统、快捷地掌握口语交际的有关知识，提高相关技能。这种专题训练具有以下特点：一是跟学生生活实际紧密联系，具有广泛的适用性；二是遵循由易到难，由简单到复杂的规律。随着学生身心发展，他们的交际面会更广泛，要求的相应交际技能和素质也更高。
二、口语交际渗透在课堂教学过程中
1、在质疑中加强口语交际训练：
质疑解疑是学生在学习过程中发现问题，提出问题，共同解决问题的重要环节。这个环节不但是培养学生发现问题、分析问题、解决问题的能力，而且也是培养学生表达能力，与人讨论的交际能力。例如五年级《金色的鱼钩》引导学生看图阅读后，让学生想像自己就是老班长或其中一个病号之一，自己提出问题，自己想办法解决。然后同桌讨论或四人小组讨论修改，再请一位口语表达能力较强的同学上台表演。同学们评议、评分。通过充分的交流、讨论，使学生的口语交际能力得到提高。
2、在评议中加强口语交际训练：
新的教学模式，是使学生有充分展示个性的空间，教学过程中，学生对老师、同学的读书，问答常常主动要求发表见解，说出自己的看法，被评议的同学有的虚心接受，有的针锋相对坚持自己的意见，这样的评议是训练口语交际的良好机会。学生不仅要积极思考判断，提出不同的看法和补充意见，同时还要特别留心听听人的朗读发言，而这一点往往是很多同学容易忽视的。“请大家仔细听，这位同学读得怎样？”这是让学生听清楚、听明白；“请大家评一评刚才那个学生的回答。”这是指导学生在听的基础上学会思考、学习给别人提看法；“别着急，吸一口气，再慢慢说”“你讲的很对，能不能说得再响亮些？”这是对学生口语交际信心的激发和口语技能的强化训练。在评议中，学生互相交流，敢于争论，在心理上获得了一种成功的满足感，不仅提高了口语交际能力，还培养了口语交际的信心。
3、在小组合作中加强口语交际训练：
综合性学习，强调合作精神。小组合作学习能为每个同学在课堂上进行口语交际训练提供了机会。在教学中教师对学生要进行良好的训练，保证小组合作学习能有效进行。在小组长的组织下，就一个问题展开讨论，人人参与，讨论达成共识或者有不同的意见。如在谈“观察中的发现”话题时，先布置学生观察，然后堂上交流，最后全班反馈。全班反馈时既可以以小组单位一起发表看法，互相补充，也可以推荐代表阐明本小组的观点。这样，使口语交际得到充分的训练。
4、在复述课文中加强口语交际训练：
复述课文既可以检查学生是否理解课文内容，又可以训练学生口语交际能力和逻辑思维能力。我根据低年级学生喜爱生动的形象和善于表现自己的特点，在学生理解课文的基础上，表演文中的精彩片段或有关情节，激发学生的学习兴趣、情感，加深对课文的理解，如：我在教《狮子和廘》这篇课文时，先引导学生找出动物角色，它们的动作和语言，进行感情朗读后，请两个同学分角色表演。小演员们戴着各种动物的头饰把动物的性格特点、动作、语言、神态维妙维肖地表演出来。表演完了，其他同学还纷纷争着扮演故事里的角色，这样课堂气氛达到了高潮。在表演的过程中不但让同学在兴趣中巩固知识，发展了口语交际能力，更能发展同学们的智能。
三、随机训练
1、紧扣生活随机训练：
丰富多采的生活给口语交际教学提供了活水源泉，教师要用心捕捉现实生活现象，诱导学生用学过的知识和自己的认识能力参与、影响班级、学校和社会生活，在这一过程中发展学生的口语交际能力。比如新转进一个学生，大家怎样说欢迎辞、组织“该不该看电视”的讨论等。
2、利用活动随机训练：
活动是孩子的天性，班级、学校等经常开展活动，抓住活动的机会进行口语交际训练会取得比较理想的效果。如：训练看图说话《课间活动》时，我在训练说话前把学生带至操场上开展课间活动。活动多种多样，有“丢手帕”、“打羽毛球”、“跳皮筋”、“跳绳”、“打乒乓球”、“丢沙包”、“老鹰捉小鸡”等等。活动完毕，我把学生领进教室，引导他们进行说话训练。我问：“同学们，刚才你们都进行了哪些活动？”同学们都纷纷举手发言，还用了“有的……有的……有的……还有的……”这个句式，我把这个句式写在黑板上，接着问：“你们是在什么时间进行活动的？”“在哪里活动？”“你最喜欢什么活动？”“玩得怎么样？”我把训练说话的提示性词语板书在黑板上，请同学们按这样的思路说一段话，把刚才教师提出的问题连贯起来说一遍，学生兴趣盎然。这样指导说话活跃了课堂气氛，达到了教学目的。
四、在生活中加强口语交际训练
陶行知说：“生活即教育”，生活就是口语交际的内容，口语交际是生活的工具，丰富多彩的生活就是学生交际的舞台，就是学生交际的源泉，教师在课堂中创设情境，教给学生交际的方法，还应利用课外时间，让学生在生活中训练交际的本领。
1、在学校生活中训练：
学生在校时间至少有6小时，在这段时间，学生之间要发生许多的事，这就是进行交际的契机。开学初的班干部选拔，选谁？为什么选他？同学之间的交流就是一种口语交际，如何夺得每月“流动红旗”，让学生出谋划策之间，学生进行了口语交际。下课时，学生针对上课时不明白的问题和教师交流时，我们在走廊上的口语交际。其实口语交际隐身于学生学校生活的每个角落，此时的我们最好的扮演角色就是——倾听者、引导者，抓住每次让学生训练交际能力的机会。
2、在家庭生活中训练：
学生生活的时间最长的还是在家庭中，因此，让学生实践交际能力的机会，延伸到家里是非常有必要的，于是，我做了这样的尝试；我让学生把自己一天的所见所闻讲给父母亲听，内容不限，可以是班上发生的，上学、放学路上发生的、看到的、听到的。也可以是和兄弟姐妹之间发生的事，可以是趣事，可以是为某一事，俩人之间进行的或争执、或交流，我随时检查提问。这对于内向的孩子也是一种有效的交际途径。做了这样的尝试之后，我深刻地发现，交际的时间跨度大了，不再局限于学校；愿意交际的面广了，不再局限于个别人；交际的内容多了，不再言之无物；交际的话题多了，不再言不由衷。
3、在社会生活中强化口语交际训练：
我们除了重视通过课堂教学加强训练外，还需要引导、组织学生在社会交往中实践。积极开展各种社会交往活动。如组织参观、访问、调查、慰问、做好人好事等活动。通过这些活动，使学生口语交际能力得到培养和发展。如果组织学生参加社会实践活动受到时间、空间的限制的话，可以在校内开展模拟社会活动。如模拟在 “旅游”活动中当小导游，向“游客”介绍学校和风土人情、景物；模拟“银行”、“餐厅”、“书店”、“商场”等服务活动中当服务员、售货员等。这样模拟对学生的口语交际能力有很大的提高，为学生将来走向社会，进行实际的交往活动打下基础。
总而言之，小学口语交际是一个全新的课题训练，交际能力的训练应是长效的，应贯穿于整个语文教学，应渗透学生的课内、课外、校内、校外的生活环节，经过“细水长流”的口语交际训练，通过“润物细无声”的生活交际能力锻炼，新一代的公民必将具备能说会道、能言善辩，有如“滔滔江水”的口语交际能力，适应瞬息万变的时代需求。
