词汇书推荐：刘毅10000或者星火式词汇。阅读的话，选择一些经典名著，原版的，还有英文报刊，中国日报，21世纪等。翻译书推荐：张培基的英译中国现代散文108篇。听力：自己下载一些BBC\VOA什么的听，或者嫌麻烦就买本星火的专项吧，里面都是从VOA,BBC上面的，有原文，方便些。如果是应对专四专八考试或是英专考研的话，建议选择星火的，星火在英专领域算是国内最权威的了，我们基本上都用的是星火的，一是习惯了星火的试卷解析，很透彻，二是星火在押题这一块确实很准。

一、作为英语专业的学生，应该是多看一些外国英文名著，对文学素养和英语学习都有帮助。一般大学教师都会对学生有所推荐。以下列出一些常读的经典外国英文名著供选择：

二、英语专业学生读英语名著的注意事项：
1、可以使用该名著的汉译本做名著的辅助读物，但不可以进行英汉对照式的阅读。
读英语版本时不要看汉语的，读汉语时就不要看英语的。可以先读一遍汉语版然后再读一遍英语版，或者反过来。
（2）可以使用词典，但不可以逢词必查。
没有词典的帮助阅读则显得非常的困难，但读名著是为了读名著的意思。只有把心思用在意义的解读上时，才能摆脱词汇量的束缚，只有在抛开了积累词汇学习英语等基本想法之后，才能够做到词汇的高度积累，语法体系的高度完善，英语水平的高度发展。
（3）可以浅尝则止，但不可以半途而废。
一旦开始了英语名著的阅读，就不要轻言放弃，哪怕是整部书读得一点儿也不理想。阅读就是这样，在感到没收获的时候，其实许多知识都潜移默化地进入了脑海。

The Thorn Bird written by Colleen McCollough,《荆棘鸟》,被称之为澳大利亚的《漂》，语言也不晦涩，情节有些复杂，跨度专比较大，但属是引人入胜，可以帮助学生进入情节。The World is Flat: A brief history of 21st century,《世界是平的 21世纪简史》,written by Thomas Friedman 这一本是跟文学无关的，讲全球化的，这本书语言非常浅显易懂，而且很生动。
㈤ 英语专业的学生应该看哪些书
要看你是哪种类型的翻译方向了，如果是学术型研究生，那主要是搞翻译理论，内那就要看翻译理容论的书了。Nida, Venuti, Jakobson, Toury, Reiss,等等，他们都是各个派别的翻译学家。然后你还要看有名的译本，要中英文原版的，译文文本还要有几个译本，然后对比哪个译本好，哪里好。有空的时候可以看英文原著小说。本人觉得学习翻译，首先要学好汉语，所以快去恶补你的汉语水平吧。
