楼上抄的说的是书虫吧？那书的确不错，分级别的，不过我觉得要想提高英语，得读比自己级别高一点儿的～可以去外研社看看，这种书挺多的～如果是为了高考的话，还是买五年十年做吧～十年高考也不错，多看看高考题提前熟悉一下挺好的～中英对照的，床头灯系列也不错，心灵鸡汤中英对照版也还行～加油哦～我是英文系的,稍微有点小小的经验啦~其实要是高中的话,课本真的挺有用的~读熟读透了对阅读很有经验的,建议你每天早上出去读书,神清气爽的时候,下午五六点就别读了,那会儿记忆比较低,读了效果也不好~其实单词还是最主要的,词汇量越大,对阅读越好,还有一些语法的东西,对于理解,尤其一些小的东西,很有用,语法不好,就容易产生歧义啦~

我高考英语140分还抄行吧，回答这个问题应该不会耽误你。
我感觉还是做高考真题比较好。我记得当初是我们英语老师把历年的高考真题分为阅读、完形填空、完成句子等等几个板块给我们做，然后抽查，挑错的多的讲。
如果你们老师没这么做的话也不要紧，学习毕竟还是靠自己。你可以自己去买本类似的书做，现在市场上不是有很多这种书卖吗？完型和阅读真的是考做题和平时多阅读的。
另外，听力和口语是很相关的，一定要多读多记多听，听力可以建议你在听好课本听力的基础上可以听听VOA慢速英语，注意不仅是听，尽量讲听到的内容用英语复述在纸上。。。。、

我也是高三的，我们现在正在做星火英语阅读，是针对高考的版本。老师说这是从无数本阅读书版中选出来的比较适权合我们的，（当然这是针对英语一般的学生，英语好的都去做四级阅读了....)。感觉这个还可以，难度比较适中，而且每到题后边有一些讲解。一个测试有1篇完形和5篇阅读，正好是高考的模式，订好时间做也能训练你做英语阅读的耐力。
另外我觉得想要迅速提高成绩必须从各个方面做起，采取各种方法，提高上课效率背单词看英语读物做阅读题，甚至看个英文电影什么的，注意培养兴趣别反感就行了，祝成功。

Secondly, different tasks and ties are resuired for different professions, resulting in the variety of holiday periods for people in different walks of life.
Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line.Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent;other wise the society will be in a mess. Even for some people in the same occupation, they cannot have the same holidays entitled to them e to many factors out of human control, such as special assignments, and health conditions etc, then not to people in different fields.
Suppose we, as teachers do, all have three months' holiday in a year.
Then factories have to employ considerably more workers because some of them are enjoying happy holiday.That's obviously against the principles of doing business at lower cost and efficiency.
If we have only three days off in a year, then all the people in our country will be working day after day. No one can ssueeze time to visit those tourist resorts leisurely. It goes without ing that the tourist trade and catering instry thus cannot develop rapidly and healtly.
