Actually the difference existed for a long time and can be traced back to pre-history.As we all know,in eastern countries, taking China for example,to some extent,we can say their cultiviation originate from the complex environment. why? For the complex surrounding,animals could be found everywhere.But as the advanced life-forms,they can resolved the problem by wisdom. In this way they take advantage of the surrounding and fight with animals, such as trap but not flesh to flesh. Hiding is in the sake of protecting themselves. Just for the indirect fighting,people accumulate much experence and graally it become a habit even we can say it is a tradtion. At this point, western countries civilization like Europian contries' is more open that is formed. That is because they hunted directly.But you know,animals never be submited or hunted without risisting. They choose the weak place where pepople are less than others. For survival, they must be powerful and stronger than animals. Thus, the man who is valour and gains more than other would be chosed as the leader of the tribe.
