It is well known that man is much cleverer than any animal. But which is the cleverest among the animals? Some scientists think it should be Alex, an African gray parrot. Jack London was a famous American writer.His most famous book is The Call of the Wild. The story is about the adventure of a large dog in the frozen north.
Jack London was born on January12,1876，in the USA. His family was very poor and Jack had to leave to school to make money. He worked hard in many different jobs.
