看有内涵的,就看——
《悲惨世界》(感触最深、最喜欢的一部小说)
《泰戈尔诗选》(文字超优美,冰心等大批作家就是受其感染)
《追忆似水年华》(被称为20世纪文坛上的奇迹,文笔亦然很优美)
《简爱》(女主人公那种不卑不亢、自尊自主、感情炽烈,敢于追求真正意义上、完整的爱情与意志坚强,智慧过人的性格,不仅值得每一个女孩学习,也深深影响着看过该书的男同胞。)
《汤姆叔叔的小屋》(描写黑奴悲惨生活的,可是文中的善良可爱的小女孩,伊娃,带给我们的感动更是难以言表,还有汤姆的第一个小主人乔治。一本让人感动的小说)
《安娜 卡列宁娜》、《童年 我的大学 在人间》(说实话,不是很喜欢俄国的作品,总感觉读着拗口,《死魂灵》更是读不懂,不过静下心来读,应该会有收获)

《基督山伯爵》(关于复仇的,很曲折的情节、很经典;应该是《肖申克的救犊》、《越狱》等经典电影的前身吧。)
《海底两万里》(科幻的,讲述了一艘无与伦比的潜艇,在海底做了两万古海里的环球探险旅行,很曲折的经历)
《汤姆 索亚历险记》(说是儿童读物,不过也好看,诙谐的语言让人联想到了钱钟书的《围城》。)

看悲剧的,就看——
《巴黎圣母院》(美丽善良的爱丝梅拉达,最终被残酷的现实吞没。)
《红与黑》(司汤达的,有点难读,可以选择性的看一下,不太推荐)

就作品而言,简来爱、老人与自海、欧也妮与葛朗台、羊脂球、欧亨利短篇故事集等等都不错。
就选择来说,“书虫”无疑是最好的选择。它由牛津大学出版社出版。英汉对译。虽是节选版,内容或许不太全面,但已能了解主要内容与精彩情节。同时可以大大节省阅读时间,也可阅读更多的书。
另外,河北教育出版社出版的Spring Series(春天系列)也挺受欢迎的。
它们都是为学生量身打造的,分了不同级别满足不同层度学生的要求。印象中好像分了初一到高三六个等级。篇幅不长,单词也没什么难度,价格也挺便宜的。
我也买过几本,觉得还不错。推荐你去看看。只要去书店问问,一般都会有一整个柜台的不同作品可供挑选。

2000后的小说 那一定要算上 暮光之城 eclipse 和gossip girl 这两部小说都是系列小说,美国高中生活,版而且拍成了电影权,美国高中生无人不知无人不晓
dan brown的推理小说, digital fortress 和da vinci's code 之类 ,也火过一阵,不过似乎对于中国高中生难度大了一点, 专业词汇有点多
哦对了 这本不错 Tuesday with morrie 很有哲理的小说,在畅销书榜上排了很久第一。非常真挚感人而且简单易懂。如果你喜欢这个风格,还可以读读这个作者的其他小说。
The kite runner , my sister's keeper,这俩都是 感人型的 都拍成电影了
最后 最后就是harry potter 一定很多人推荐这个,这本小说英文不难,不过看你喜不喜欢奇幻类型的了。

我觉得高中生可以把四大名著,再阅读一遍。那个是我们中国的传统文化。作为中国人理应阅读。并且四大名著中有特别多值得我们深思的问题。也揭露了很多现实,每读一次都会有不一样的见解。

10. 哪些英文小说适合高中生阅读
高中复生阅读英文原制著很花时间。
有个退一步的方法,就是读一些老外编写的原著缩写版。
比如书虫系列的改写版,内容很有趣,语法精确【因为是老外自己写的,绝对不会出现中式英语】,而且单词量也比较匹配学生的水平。
如果水平够,也可以买一套《美国语文》。那套书有难度,但是都是经典中的经典,对于提高英语水平绝对帮助很大!值得反复阅读!
