3. 邏輯錯誤
在做書面表達的過程中，有的學生一拿到考題慌慌張張開始寫，在寫作之前沒有構思好先寫什麼後寫什麼，哪些內容應該詳寫，哪些內容應該略寫，而是一邊寫一邊構思，從而導致整個文章邏輯不清，層次感不強，整篇文章不知所雲。
4．單詞拼寫錯誤
由於部分學生平時不注意記憶單詞，基礎知識掌握不牢固，所以在文章中常出現單詞拼寫錯誤如，September 寫為 septber because 寫為 beacause
5. 缺少銜接
有些學生雖然在詞彙運用書面表達方面能夠達到基本要求，但由於句子之間沒有添加適當的銜接成分，使句子之間和文段之間缺乏必要的過渡和連貫，影響了信息的傳遞和表達效果。
6．文體不對
中學階段要求學生掌握的文體主要有說明文、記敘文、議論文和應用文，其中應用文又包括通知、請假條、書信和電子郵件等，由於一些學忽視了各種體裁的寫作特點，從而導致文章體裁格式不正確如：將寫信的日期寫在信末；寫請假條不寫署名等。
