2. 冠詞和數詞
2.1 不定冠詞的用法
冠詞本身不能單獨使用,也沒有詞義,它用在名詞的前面,幫助指明名詞的含義。英語中的冠詞有三種,一種是定冠詞,另一種是不定冠詞,還有一種是零冠詞。
不定冠詞a (an)與數詞one 同源,是\"一個\"的意思。a用於輔音音素前,一般讀作[e],而an則用於母音音素前,一般讀做[en]。
1) 表示\"一個\",意為one;指某人或某物,意為a certain。例如:
A Mr. Ling is waiting for you. 有位姓凌的先生在等你。
2) 代表一類人或物。例如:
A knife is a tool for cutting with. 刀是切割的工具。
Mr. Smith is an engineer. 史密斯先生是工程師。
3) 組成片語或成語,如a little / a few / a lot / a type of / a pile / a great many / many a / as a rule / in a hurry / in a minute / in a word / in a short while / after a while / have a cold / have a try /keep an eye on / all of a sudden等。

2.2 定冠詞的用法
定冠詞the與指示代詞this,that同源,有\"那(這)個\"的意思,但意義較弱,可以和一個名詞連用,來表示某個或某些特定的人或東西。
1)特指雙方都明白的人或物。例如:
Take the medicine.把葯吃了。
2)上文提到過的人或事。例如:
He bought a house.I\'ve been to the house. 他買了幢房子。我去過那幢房子。
3)指世上獨一物二的事物,如the sun, the sky, the moon, the earth等。
4)與單數名詞連用表示一類事物,如the dollar 美元; the fox 狐狸;或與形容詞或分詞連用,表示一類人:the rich 富人; the living 生者。
5)用在序數詞和形容詞最高級,及形容詞only,very,same等前面。例如:
Where do you live?I live on the second floor. 你住在哪?我住在二層。
That\'s the very thing I\'ve been looking for. 那正是我要找的東西。
6)與復數名詞連用,指整個群體。例如:
They are the teachers of this school.(指全體教師)
They are teachers of this school. (指部分教師)
7)表示所有,相當於物主代詞,用在表示身體部位的名詞前。例如:
She caught me by the arm..她抓住了我的手臂。
8)用在某些由普通名詞構成的國家名稱、機關團體、階級、等專有名詞前。例如:
the People\'s Republic of China 中華人民共和國
the United States 美國
9)用在表示樂器的名詞之前。例如:
She plays the piano.她會彈鋼琴。
10) 用在姓氏的復數名詞之前,表示一家人。例如:
the Greens 格林一家人 (或格林夫婦)
11) 用在慣用語中。例如:
in the day, in the morning (afternoon,evening),the day after tomorrow
the day before yesterday,the next morning,
in the sky (water,field,country)
in the dark,in the rain,in the distance,
in the middle (of),in the end,
on the whole,by the way,go to the theatre

2.3 零冠詞的用法
1) 國名,人名前通常不用定冠詞:England,Mary。
2)泛指的復數名詞,表示一類人或事物時,可不用定冠詞。例如:
They are teachers. 他們是教師。
3)抽象名詞表示一般概念時,通常不加冠詞。例如:
Failure is the mother of success.失敗乃成功之母。
4)物質名詞表示一般概念時,通常不加冠詞,當表示特定的意思時,需要加定冠詞。例如:
Man cannot live without water.離開水人就無法生存。
5)在季節、月份、節日、 假日、日期、星期等表示時間的名詞之前,不加冠詞。例如:
We go to school from Monday to Friday. 我們從星期一到星期五都上課。
6)在稱呼或表示官銜,職位的名詞前不加冠詞。例如:
The guards took the American to General Lee. 士兵們把這個美國人送到李將軍那裡。
7)在三餐、球類運動和娛樂運動的名稱前,不加冠詞,如have breakfast,play chess。
8)當兩個或兩個以上名詞並用時,常省去冠詞。例如:
I can\'t write without pen or pencil.沒有鋼筆和鉛筆,我就寫不了字。
9)當by 與火車等交通工具連用,表示一種方式時,中間無冠詞,如by bus,by train。
10)有些個體名詞不用冠詞,如school,college,prison,market,hospital,bed,table,class,town,church,court 等個體名詞,直接置於介詞後,表示該名詞的深層含義。例如:
go to hospital 去醫院看病
go to the hospital 去醫院 (並不是去看病,而是有其他目的)
11)不用冠詞的序數詞;
a. 序數詞前有物主代詞時。
b. 序數詞作副詞。例如:He came first in the race. 他跑步得了第一。
c. 在固定片語中,如at(the)first, first of all, from first to last等。

2.4 冠詞與形容詞+名詞結構
1) 兩個形容詞都有冠詞,表示兩個不同的人或物。例如:
He raises a black and a white cat.他養了一隻黑貓和一隻白貓。
The black and the white cats are hers.這只黑貓和白貓都是他的。
2) 如後一個形容詞無冠詞,則指一人或一物。例如:
He raises a black and white cat. 他養了一隻花貓。

2.5 冠詞位置
1) 不定冠詞位置
不定冠詞常位於名詞或名詞修飾語前。注意:
a. 位於such,what,many,half等形容詞之後。例如:
I have never seen such an animal. 我從來沒見過這樣的動物。
Many a man is fit for the job. 許多人適合這崗位。
b. 當名詞前的形容詞被副詞as, so, too, how, however, enough修飾時,不定冠詞應放在形容詞之後。例如:
It is as pleasant a day as I have ever spent. 我從未這么高興過。
So short a time 如此短的時間
Too long a distance 距離太遠了
c. quite,rather與單數名詞連用,冠詞放在其後。但當rather,quite 前仍有形容詞,不定冠詞放其前後均可,如:rather a cold day/a rather cold day。
d. 在as,though 引導的讓步狀語從句中,當表語為形容詞修飾的名詞時,不定冠詞放形容詞後。例如:Brave a man though he is,he trembles at the sight of snakes. 他盡管勇敢,可見到蛇還是發抖。
2) 定冠詞位置
定冠詞通常位於名詞或名詞修飾語前,但放在all, both,double,half,twice,three times等詞之後,名詞之前。例如:All the students in the class went out.班裡的所有學生都出去了。

2.6 數詞
表示數目多少或順序多少的詞叫數詞,數詞分為基數詞和序數詞。表示數目多少的數詞叫基數詞;表示順序的數詞叫序數詞。
一、基數詞
1)基數詞一般可寫成如345或three hundred and forty-five。
2)基數詞一般是單數形式,但遇下列情況,常用復數:
a. 與of 短語連用,表示概數,不能與具體數目連用,如scores of people 指許多人;
b. 在一些表示\"一排\"或\"一組\"的片語里。例如:
They arrived in twos and threes.他們三三兩兩的到了。
c. 表示\"幾十歲\"。
d. 表示\"年代\",用 in +the +數詞復數。
e. 在乘法運算的一種表示法里,如Three fives is(are)fifteen。
二、序數詞
序數詞的縮寫形式如first---1stsecond---2ndthirty-first---31st等。
三、 數詞的用法
1)倍數表示法
a. 主語+謂語+倍數(或分數)+ as + adj. + as。例如
I have three times as many as you.我有你三倍那麼多。
b. 主語+謂語+倍數(分數)+ the size (amount,length…) of…。例如:
The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.地球是月球的49倍。
c. 主語+謂語+倍數(分數)+ 形容詞(副詞)比較級+ than…。例如:
The grain output is 8 percent higher this year than that of last year. 今年比去年糧食產量增加8%。
d. 還可以用by+倍數,表示增加多少倍。例如:
The proction of grain has been increased by four times this year. 今年糧食產量增加了4倍。
2)分數表示法的構成:基數詞代表分子,序數詞代表分母。分子大於1時,分子的序數詞用單數,分母序數詞用復數。例如:
1/3 one-third; 3/37 three and three-sevenths.

答:語法書可以劃分為三類。一類是教學語法書。這類語法書旨在直接為英語教學服務。由於受到教學對象、教學內容、教學目標、教學條件、教學經驗等變數的影響,目前尚未出版一部公認的、權威性的、具有普遍指導意義的教學語法書。第二類是研究語法書。這類語法書著重理論問題的研究、理論體系的建立,教師往往可以從中發現許多對教學有參考性的理念,如《當代英語功能語法》(Mathesius, Vilém.1975. A Functional Analysis of Present-Day English on a General Linguistic Basis)。第三類是參考語法書,也叫做描寫語法書。其特點是對語言現象的描寫全面而詳盡,對英語教學最具有參考價值。迄今為止,對英語教學最具參考價值的英語語法書幾乎全是描寫語法。如(1)Jespersen, Otto. A Modern English Grammar on Historical Principles(2)Kruisinga, Etsko. A Handbook of Present-Day English(3)Poutsma, Hendrik. A Grammar of Late Modern English。
這三部著作均出版於20世紀上半葉,在真實語料的搜集、描寫的詳盡等方面,至今無出其右者。20世紀下半葉出版的最著名的參考語法書是Randolph Quirk,Sidney Greenbaum,Geoffrey Leech, Jan Svartvik四位學者合著的《英語語法大全》(A Comprehensive Grammar of the English Language)。該著作共1779頁,被公認為是標準的參考書。
如果條件有限,無法找到以上著作,教師也可參考一些小部頭的專著,比如(1)Curme, George Oliver. 1931. Syntax(中譯本《英語句法》上、下冊,商務印書館) (2)Jespersen, Otto. 1933. Essentials of English Grammar(中譯本《英語語法精要》,商務印書館)。此外,以下兩部也具有參考價值: (1)Close, R. 1. not until ...beautiful是時間狀語從句,必須倒裝。
2. will start主句謂語動詞。you 主句主語。to live主句賓語。
3. 大致意思是,直到你感受(或意識到)生活之美,你才真正開始生活。

如果是高中老師 就買本最便宜的語法書 或者在網上下載一本也行 因為高中語法不需要內研究太深 簡單語法書內容容都大同小異 沒必要花錢

如果本科的 就是薄冰 張道真 我們本科當年用的是張道真 算淺的了 還有一本哈工大老師編叫做《英語疑難問題解答大詞典》的書 很好 探討了很多英語語法的疑難問題 非常專業 非常有幫助 當初我看這本書的時候 發現自己對語法的很多認識都是錯誤的 可這些錯誤又是那麼的根深蒂固

如果研究生 那麼首推誇克QUIRK的英語語法 A COMPREHENSIVE GRAMMAR OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE 這本書在語法領域算是權威 國內在80年代曾經翻譯過 非常厚的一本 2000多頁 價格昂貴 而且現在除了個別大學的圖書館 恐怕想看到也不大容易了 但這本書實在是太好了 堪稱學術語法的典範 是為最高水平的英語語法研究者准備的

再有 國外的老師如果要查單詞和語法的時候都用柯林斯字典或語法書 我不是聽別人說的 是自己親耳聽他們說的 國內人都以為牛津字典或語法書是最好的 但在學術領域卻有那麼多的老師信任柯林斯

有語言學家說過:「語言是語法化的詞彙。」也就是說,語言是按照語法規則組織起來的詞彙。一句話表達得是否正確,主要是看它是否符合語法規則;任何一個錯句,都能從語法上找到原因。因此,學好語法是學好一門語言的基礎。
在當前的英語教學中,上面倡導要淡化語法教學,要重視學生綜合應用能力的培養。實施這么多年來,老師們普遍感到學生准確應用英語的能力下降了很多,特別是「寫」的能力。大部分學生寫的英語作文「慘不忍睹」。這實際上是淡化語法教學所產生的嚴重後果。

但現在許多人都害怕英語語法。一方面是因為現在盛行的教學理論在作怪,學校教學過於淡化語法教學,過於強調語言的「習得」,導致學生的語法基礎較差。另一方面,是因為沒有合適的語法資料。教材上的語法講解,「千呼萬喚始出來,猶抱琵琶半遮面」,總是放不下架子,就是講一點,其深度比考試的難度要低得多,根本靠不住。書店裡的語法資料,一類是語法大家們編的,旨在解釋一些語法現象,本來就不是給高中學生看的,有些知識學生看了沒有用,有些知識學生根本看不懂。再一類就是一些名校編的資料,由於編寫有時間有限、稿酬是按編的頁數給的,這類資料大部分粗製濫造,總是先籠統地講解一下,再弄點題一湊就好了。結果是,考點沒講清,練習針對性又不強,學生前學後忘,印象不深。
本書由有二十多年教學經驗的一線教師所編,原是編者在平時教學備課中精細編寫的教學講義,經過多年修改完善,日臻系統、成熟。發到網上後,成為熱門資料,在熱心讀者的推薦下,獲得出版社的正式出版。在編排上,本書有以下特點:
一、針對性強。在編寫時,用的是「歸納」法。先下載近十幾年的高考真題,按考點逐題歸類,歸類時特別注意了學生學習過程中的難點和易混點。最後再在需要的地方加上必要的講解,因此重點、難點突出,詳略得當,針對性強。
二、選題經典。書中絕大部分練習題都是經過精挑細選的高考真題。在選擇練習題時,主要是從其典型性、思維容量和所含語言點是否豐富,寫作是否能用,裡面是否含有完形填空可能出的詞等多個方面考慮。因此也有相當多的題是保留了十幾年前的題而舍棄了近幾年的高考題。
三、題量科學。我們發現,針對每個考點的練習量如果過大的話,效果也不好。練習量少的話,譬如兩三個,我們就可以輕松自如地在腦中翻動、回味這些題,效果反而更好。因此,就忍痛刪去了許多來之不易的好題。
四、重視習題排序。有人說,像這樣把同類型的題編排在一起,學生容易猜到答案,而不去思考。於是我們就做了一個實驗,我們把不同類型的題混在一起,但再看時,發覺做後效果反而不好了,做後印象不深、規律在腦中不清晰。然後又把題按類型編排,同類型的題列在一起,再看一下,感覺真好!學知識同如向某個空間放東西一樣,有條理了就好放也好找,雜亂了就不好放,用時也不容易找到。科學家對大腦的研究也表明,信息在腦中存放、排列是有規律的。
五、考點目錄化。本書編了詳細的目錄,分為「章」、「講」和「考點」三個級別。老師想講解某個知識點或者學生想查看某個知識點的講解時,可以藉助目錄輕松找到。
六、練習題型多樣化,適用於多個題型的備考。本書每一節分為兩部分。「考點精講精練」先按考點進行簡明講解,然後以單選題的形式強化所學考點知識。「綜合技能提升」以單句改錯、語法填空、漢譯英三種形式對所學的重點語法知識再進一步鞏固。這部分的練習題,大部分來自高考真題,但又不拘泥於高考真題,可以從根本上來提高學生做短文改錯、語法填空、書面表達的能力。「長難句分析技巧」一章介紹的「七字秘訣」是破解長難句的鑰匙,有利於提高學生的閱讀能力。
本書的這種編排,適合全國各省考生的使用。學生一看就懂,一做就會,有效地解決了語法學習中費時低效的問題。老師利用這本資料,可以使語法課不再空洞乏味。學生利用這本書,可以使語法學習變得有趣高效,優生可以利用此書來鞏固自己的學科優勢,待優生可以利用此書來實現英語上的徹底逆轉。
本書使用方法:
與其看好多書,前看後忘,還不如反復把一本書看熟。因此,在心中要樹立「我要把這本書上所有的題都做熟」這個目標,要有「只要把這本書學好,我的語法就是最棒的」這種信念。本書的使用方法:認真做、反復看。
做:如果時間允許的話,可以從前到後按順序全做;如果時間不允許的話,可以挑自己不太懂的專題或重點專題有針對性地做。
查:在做別的資料上的練習遇到難題時,可以藉助本書前面的目錄方便地找到相應的考點,裡面有講解、有針對性的練習,從而有效地解決學生遇到的問題。
讀:還有同學花費大量時間來「讀」這本書,效果也非常好。「讀」並不是死記硬背,因為「讀」可以使「看題」的速度慢下來,從而可以使學生有更多的時間去思考、去理解掌握語法規律。本書所選習題大都語言點豐富,讀熟後對提高寫作能力和做完形能力的幫助也很大。
使用此書的注意事項:
速度要慢:要讀完每個選項,既要知道為什麼要選這個,也要知道為什麼不選那幾個。
標記難題:對做錯的題或一些好題,要做上標記,以便隨後復習。
及時復習:對標記過的題,還有用粉紅底紋標記出的概念及要點,都要及時復習,這樣才能提高學習效率;要反復復習,這樣才能確保學習效果。
要「有效」學習:一章完全學會弄熟後再學下一章,這樣才有成就感。學習最忌諱半生不熟,前學後忘。
