一般現在時、現在進行時、一般將來時、一般過去時專項練習
1）現在進行時——表示說話時正在進行的動作。
動詞形式：be +doing 標志性詞語：now, look! Look at… Listen!
Example: I am riding a bike now. Look! He is reading a book.
Listen! The children are singing.
What are you doing? I am planting a tree. /What is Mary doing? She is skipping.
What are they doing? They are visiting the Art Museum.
Are you painting a picture? Yes, I am./No, I』m not.
Is she /he taking a photo? Yes, she/he is. No, she/he isn』t.
2)一般現在時(Simple Present Tense)常用來表示現在時間里某種動作的經常性和習慣性。 動詞形式：do/does(第三人稱單數) 標志性詞語：never, sometimes, often, usually, always, everyday…
例A：I study very hard and Tom studies very hard, too.（我很用功，湯姆也很用功。）
例BThe teacher is not in the classroom and the students are very noisy.老師不在教室，學生都很吵鬧.
如例所示:主語為第三人稱單數時，一般現在時的動詞必須使用第三人稱單數形式，其他則除「be」以外都使用原形動詞。
一般現在時的用法如下：文法上一般現在時所指的「現在」,其實其觀念並非是絕對的。這里所指的現在是在表明說話時存在著的事物，其時間領域含蓋著過去，也將延伸及將來。例如：It is very hot today.（今天天氣很熱。──如說話時間是在中午，本句話是在表明說話時「天氣很熱」，實際上「天氣熱」的現象在中午之前就已開始存在，同時也將延伸到下午。）Dogs bark at strangers.（狗看到陌生人就會吠。──這句話是在談狗的習性，說話時不一定有狗正在吠，而狗的這種習性可以追溯及遠古，當然也將延伸到將來。）
因此， 一般現在時常可作用如「today，this + time (this week, this year, …)now，right now，at present，etc.」時間副詞來修飾。
3)一般將來時——表示打算在將來做某事。動詞形式：be going to do/ will do
標志性詞語：tomorrow, next week, this weekend等表示將來時間的詞語。
Example: I』m/You』re/He』s/She』s/They』re going to Hong Kong tomorrow.
Are you going to stay there? Yes, I am./No, I』m not.
What are you going to do on Sunday? I am going to play football.
What is Jim going to do on holiday? He is going to stay at home.
Where are you going on holiday? I』m going to the USA.
When will you get there? At about a quarter to ten.
