1 、賓語從句:

如果一個句子作為動詞或介詞的賓語,稱為賓語從句。

(1) 如果一個特殊疑問句作某個動詞或介詞的賓語,一定要用其陳述的語序。如: they often ask him where he is from.. 不能說成: they often ask him where is he from.

(2) 某些特殊疑問句作賓語可以簡寫成「特殊疑問句 +to do」 的形式。例如: i am thinking about what to say < what i should say.> 我正在考慮我該說點兒什麼。

2. 一般將來時 : be going to 結構的用法 :

(1) 用 be going to+ 動詞原形表示 」 將要發生的事情或主觀上打算 , 計劃 , 決定要做的事 . 其後的時間狀語通常為表示短期或近期含義的短語或表示固定時間的從句 . 如 :tomorrow morning,/tomorrow afternoon /tomorrow evening, next month /next week /next year /next saturday, this week /year/afternoon/saturday. 或者 when you grow up---------? 等等

(2) be going to 結構中 ,be 是助動詞 , 要按句中主語的人稱和數的變化而變化 . 其後要接動詞的原形 . 該句的否定式是在 be 後面加 not, 其疑問式將 be 提到句首 . 如 :she is going to help her mother clean the house this sunday./we are going to watch tv tomorrow evening. /are they going to have a sports meeting next month.? /there is going to be

an english call tomorrow afternoon..

(3), 在英語中 , 表示位置轉移的動詞 , 如 :come, go, fly, drive, leave, stay, 等 , 可用現在進行時表示按計劃或安排即將發生的事 , 不必用 be going to 結構 . 如 :she is flying to nanjing herself. 明天她一個人飛往南京 . are you driving home ? 你開車回家嗎 ?

3 . 形容詞的比較級和最高級的用法:

(1) 表示兩者之間的比較時用比較級,常用於「比較級 +than 」結構。如:

this box is heavier than that one . 這個盒子比那個重。

he is much taller than i < am > ,< 口語一般用 me >. 他比我高很多。通常可用 much, a little , a lot , still , even 等詞修飾比較級。還可以用「數詞 + 名詞」構成的名詞短語表示確定的度量,來修飾比較級。如:

i am ten years older than my little brother. 我比我的小弟弟大了十歲。

(2) 表示三者或三者以上的比較時用最高級,常用於「最 -----「.

最高級的前面一般要加定冠詞 the, 後面可帶 of<in> 短語來說明比較的范圍。如: the one with nuts is the nicest of all . 裡面夾果仁的月餅是所有月餅中最好吃的。 li lei is the best at english in his class. 李雷在他們班英語學得最好。

此外,最高級還可以被序數詞所修飾。如:

the yellow river is the second longest in china. 黃河是中國第二大長河。

6. 序數詞的用法:表示事物的順序叫序數詞。序數詞往往與定冠詞 the 連用。

( 1 ), 1----3 ,沒有規律,要逐個記憶。

one first ; two second ; three third ;

(2). 4-----12. 有規律,其中 four, six , seven ,ten , eleven 是在基數詞的後面加上 th, 而 five fifth , eight eighth , nine ninth , twelve twelfth 是沒有規律,要逐個記憶。

(3). 13------20 有規律,是在基數詞的後面加上 th 就行。

( 4 )。第二十至第九十的整十的倍數都是在基數詞後將詞尾的 -y 改為 i, 再加 -eth 構成的。

( 5 ),十位以上的基數詞變成序數詞時,把個位數變成序數詞即可,十位數不變。第一百、第一千、第一百萬都是在基數詞的後面直接加上 -th 構成。

( 6 ),序數詞的縮寫形式是由阿拉伯數字加上序數詞的最後兩個字母構成。

附: 基數詞變為序數詞的口訣:

基變序,有規律,詞尾加上 th ;

一、二、三,特殊記,詞尾字母 t,d,d ;

八減 t , 九減 e, f 來把 ve 替;

單詞 ty 作結尾, ty 變成 tie;

若是碰到幾十幾,只變個位就可以。

語態是動詞的一種形式,它表示主語和謂語的關系。語態有兩種:主動語態和被動語態。如果主語是動作的執行者,或者是說動作是由主語完成的,要用主動語態;如果主語是動作的承受者,或者是說動作不是由主語而是由其他人完成的,則用被動語態。
■當不知道或沒有必要指出動作的執行者時,常用被動語態,這時往往不用by短語。
The front window in the classroom was broken yesterday. 昨天,教室的前窗被打破了。(不知誰打破的)
They have been poorly paid. 他們的工資太低。(沒必要指出工資是誰付的)
■突出或強調動作的承受者,如果需要說出動作的執行者,用by短語。
The time-table has been changed. 時間表已變動了。(要突出的是「時間」)
These books are written especially for children. 這些書是專門為孩子們寫的。(強調的是「」這些書)
■為了使語言得體或圓滑等不願意說出動作的執行者。如:
You are requested to make a speech at next meeting. 請您在下次會議上作個發言。
It is said that she is going to be married to a foreigner. 據說她要嫁給一個外國人。
■出於修辭的原因,或是說為了更好地安排句子。如:
The notion is especially opposed to by those who have invested much in the area. 這個提議特別遭到了那些在本地區投資很大的人的反對。(因those的定語太長了,若用它作主語,主語與謂語就相距太遠而顯得句子鬆散。)

8種常用時態的被動語態

由「助動詞be + 動詞的過去分詞」構成。助動詞be 有時態、人稱和數的變化。
(1) 一般現在時:am/is/are +過去分詞。如:
Rice is grown in south China. 華南種植水稻。

1.構成
現在完成時是由助動詞 have(has)+動詞的過去分詞構成。助動詞說明該謂語是屬於現在時范圍。它和主語的人稱、數要保持一致。過去分詞是主要的謂語動詞,說明句子的意義。
2.用法
(1)表示動作發生在過去某個不確定的時間,但對現在留下了某種影響和結果。常被just, already, yet 等副詞修飾。常與非延續性動詞連用。 如:
-Have you had lunch yet? -Yes, I have. I've just had it. 你(已經)吃午飯了嗎? 我剛剛吃過。(現在我不餓了)

a. 用副詞already和yet。already一般用於肯定句中,yet一般用於否定句和 疑問句中。如:We have already finished our homework.我們已完成作業了。

b. 用ever 和never。多用於否定或疑問句中,表示「曾經」或「從未「等。 如:-Have you ever been to the Great Wall?你曾經去過長城嗎?

He has been there three times the last few days. 近幾年他去過那裡三次了。 d.用包括「現在」在內的時間狀語,如:today, this morning (month ,year, term等.例如:-Have you met him today? - No, I haven't. 今天你見過他嗎?我沒有。

2) 現在完成時可以和帶有since或for等表示「一段時間」的狀語連用,表示動作或狀態從某一時刻開始,一直持續到現在。如:I haven't seen him for two years. 但是,像come, arrive, buy等終止性動詞不能與表示「一段時間」的狀語連用。要用,必須改為「be(在)」等延續性動詞來表述。現歸納總結一下由非延續性動詞到延續性動詞的轉換:

We have studied English for three years. (不可以說have begun) 我們(開始)學英語已三年了。
5. 現在完成時和一般過去時的區別
現在完成時和一般過去時都表示在過去完成的動作。但現在完成時強調的是這一動作與現在的關系。如對現在產生的結果或影響等,而一般過去時只表示動作在過去某一時刻發生,不表示和現在的關系。試比較:
I have lost my new book. 我把新書丟了。(現在還未找到)
I lost my new book yesterday. 我昨天把新書丟了。(昨天丟的,現在找到與否沒說明)
6.幾點注意事項 (1)have been(to)與have gone( to)的區別:have been(to) 表示「去過某地(現在已經回來了)」,可用於各人稱;have gone(to) 表示「去某地了(說話時某人不在當地)」,常用於第 三人稱,前者可與once ,never, several times等連用,後者則不能。如:They have been to Beijing twice.他們去過北京兩次。 He has gone to Beijing . 他去北京了。 (2)「It is或has been + 一段時間+ since引導的時間狀語從句」表示「某人干某事已經多長時間了」。since從句的謂語要用非延續性動詞 若動詞延續,則譯成相反的意思。如:It is two years since his father died. =His father has been dead for two years.他父親去世已有三年了。 It is two years since his father lived here. 他爸爸不住這兒已有三年了。 (3)終止性動詞現在完成時的否定式,已變成一種可以延續的狀態,因此可以和表示一段時間的狀語連用。如:I haven't left here since 1997.自從1997年以來,我一直沒有離開過這兒。 (4).提問for短語或since狀語用how long。
(5).完成時的否定形式與比較級連用表達最高級含義。如:
I have never seen a better film.我從未看過一部更好的電影。(這部最好)
註:否定式與比較級連用表示最高級含義不一定用於完成時態。如:

一.定義
語態是動詞的一種形式,它表示主語和謂語的關系。語態有兩種:主動語態和被動語態。如果主語是動作的執行者,或者是說動作是由主語完成的,要用主動語態;如果主語是動作的承受者,或者是說動作不是由主語而是由其他人完成的,則用被動語態。
■當不知道或沒有必要指出動作的執行者時,常用被動語態,這時往往不用by短語。

現在進行時的基本用法

1.表示說話時正在進行的動作

常和now 連用,有時用一個look、listen ,來表now 這一時間概念。

2.表示現階段正在進行的動作

但不一定是說話時正在進行。常和at present ,this week ,these days…等時間狀語連用。

1.比較級:句子表示兩者之間的比較時用比較級,其標志詞是than, much, a little , even和still等。

② I』m a little older than you. 我比你大一點兒。

2.最高級:句子表示三者或多者的比較時用最高級,其標志詞是表示範圍的in…或of …介詞短語。在句子中,形容詞最高級前必須加the。

一般動詞過去時的否定句的結構和一般現在時夠定句的結構一樣, 不論主語是第幾人稱,還是單、復數,在主語後面加上did not (而不是do not ,或 does not)就可以了。

否定式did not 常用縮寫形式didn』t 。

○He didn』t have classes this morning.
今天上午他沒課.

○You didn』t do your best to do it.
你沒有盡力去做。

3.一般動詞過去時的疑問句

Did he go there?
他去那了嗎?

Yes, he did. (No, he didn』t .) 是的,他去了。 (不,他沒去。)

When did you get up this morning? At six.
今天早晨你幾點鍾起床的? 六點鍾。

一般動詞過去時一般疑問句的結構和一般現在時一般疑問句的結構一樣,無論主語是第幾人稱,單數、復數,在主語前面加上did即可。

○Did Tom go with you?
湯姆和你一起去的嗎?

Yes, he did . (No, he didn』t .)
是的。(不,不是的)

○How many subjects did you study last term?
上學期你們學習幾門功課?

We studied seven.
我們學習七門課。

◆一般過去時的基本用法

1.帶有確定的過去時間狀語時,要用過去時

如:yesterday (昨天) , two days ago(兩天前), last year(去年)., the other day(前幾天), once upon a time(過去曾經) , just now(剛才), in the old days(過去的日子裡), before liberation(解放前), when I was 8 years old(當我八歲時).

2.表示過去連續發生的動作時,要用過去時

這種情況下,往往沒有表示過去的時間狀語,而通過上下文來表示。

○The boy opened his eyes for a moment, looked at the captain , and died.
那男孩把眼睛張開了一會兒,看看船長,然後就去世了。

3.表示過去一段時間內經常反復的動作。

常與always, never 等連用。

○Mrs. Peter always carried an umbrella.
彼得太太過去老是帶著一把傘。
(只是說明她過去的動作,不表明她現在是否常帶著傘。)

試比較:
○Mrs. Peter always carries an umbrella.
彼得太太老是帶著傘。
(說明這是她的習慣,表明她現在仍然還習慣總帶著一把傘。)

○I never drank wine.
我以前從不喝酒。
(不涉及到現在,不說明現在是否喝酒。)

4.如果強調已經終止的習慣時要用used to do

○He used to drink.
他過去喝酒。
(意味著他現在不喝酒了。喝酒這個動作終止了。)

5.有些句子,雖然沒有表示過去確定時間的狀語,但實際上是指過去發生的動作或存在的狀態的話,也要用過去時,這一點,我們要特別注意。

○I didn』t know you were in Pairs.
我不知道你在巴黎。
(因為在說話時,我已經知道你在巴黎了。這句話指的是說話前,所以只能用過去時表示。實際上,這句話暗指:But now I know you are here.)

○I thought you were ill.
我以為你病了呢。
(這句話應是在說話前,我以為你病了,但是現在我知道你沒病。)

七、反意疑問句
█.反意疑問句 (Tag questions)

在陳述句之後加上一個意思與之相反的簡短問句,這種句子叫做反意疑問句。反意疑問句必須由意思相反的兩部分組成,在前一部分(陳述句)之後用逗號,後一部分(簡短問句)之後用問號。反意疑問句的否定句必須用縮略形成,同時它的主語必須用人稱代詞,不能用名詞。前一部分用降調,後一部分在表示疑問句時用升調。

反意疑問句分為兩類:

1.前一部分為肯定式,後一部分是否定式。

2.前一部分為否定式,後一部分是肯定句。

★陳述句(肯定式),+ 疑問部分(否定式)?

1.be 動詞和一般動詞(實意動詞)構成的反意疑問句

be動詞句型
現在…… ,isn』t (aren』t ) + 主語?
過去……, wasn』t (weren』t ) + 主語?

一般動詞句型:
現在…… , don』t (doesn』t ) + 主語?
過去…… , didn』t + 主語?

◇The pen is yours, isn』t it?
這筆是你的,不是嗎?

◇Lucy likes English, doesn』t she?
露西喜歡英語,不是嗎?
Yes, she does. 是的,她喜歡。
No, she doesn』t 不,她不喜歡。

2.情態動詞的反意疑問句

◇Your brother can swim, can』t he?
你的哥哥會游泳,不是嗎?
Yes, he can.
No, he can』t.

◇We have to finish it, don』t we?
我們不得不完成它,不是嗎?
Yes, we do.
No, we don』t.

◇The workers had to take the first bus, didn』t they?
工人們不得不上頭班車,不是嗎?
Yes, they did.
No, they didn』t.

★陳述句(否定式),+ 疑問句(肯定句)?

這種反意疑問句的結構和第一部分一樣,只不過顛倒一下肯定句和否定句的位置。 這部分的難點在於回答,回答和漢語習慣不同。 在這種問句中,先不要管yes和no ,按實際情況,如果答語是肯定式的,就要用Yes + 肯定結構,如果答語是否定的,就要用No+ 否定結構

◇You aren』t a teacher, are you?
你不是老師,是嗎?
Yes, I am. 不,我是。
No, I am not. 是的,我不是。

◇You don』t study Chinese, do you?
你們不學中文,是嗎?
Yes, we do. 不,我們學中文。

◇Your classmates didn』t have a good time last summer, did they?
你的同學們去年暑假沒過好,是嗎?
Yes, they did. 不,他們過得很好。
No, they didn』t. 是的,他們過的不好。

★其他類型的反意疑問句

1.祈使句的反意疑問句

a.在肯定的祈使句後,為了使祈使句聽起來比較婉轉、客氣,可加一個簡短的問句,如:Will you? would you? won』t you? can you ? could you ? can』t you?最常見的是will you ?或 won』t you?

◇Open the window, will you?
請打開窗子,好嗎?

b.在let』s 祈使句後加上shall we? 或 shan』t we? 在let us (me , him…)後加上will you? 或won』t you?

2.陳述部分如果有表示否定意義的某些詞,如:never, seldom, hardly, few, little, nobody, no one, nothing, neither…,疑問部分必須用肯定式。

3.陳述部分是there be 結構時,疑問部分用there,省略主語代詞。

4.陳述句部分如果有everything, nothing …. 表示事物的詞作主語時,疑問部分的主語用it ,陳述部分如果有everyone , no one, someone ….. 表示人的不定代詞作主語時,疑問部分常用they (有時也用he).

◇Everything here is dirty, isn』t it?
這的所有東西都臟,不是嗎?

八、邀請和應答、請求許可

█英語中表達請求允許的句型很多,在不同的場合要用不同的句式來表達。

1.常見表示「請求」「允許」的句式。

① May I …? 我可以干……嗎?

② Can / Could I … ? 我能幹……嗎?

③ Shall I / we … ? 我/咱們干……好嗎?

④Would you like / love to …? 你願意干……嗎?

⑤Will (would) you please…? 請你干……好嗎?

⑥What / How about doing …? 干……怎麼樣?

2.常見「應答」的句式:

①Yes, of course. 當然可以。

②Sure/ Certainly. 當然可以。

③That』s OK. / That』s all right. 好吧,行。

④Yes, please. 好的,請(做吧)。

⑤I』d love / like to. 很樂意。

⑥With pleasure. 很樂意。

⑦Good idea! 好主意。

3.表示「不允許」的答語有:

①I』m sorry, but …… 對不起,不過……

②I』m sorry , but …. 對不起,你不能。

③You』d better not …. 你最好別……

④I』m afraid I can』t. 恐怕我不行。

⑤No, thanks. 不,謝謝。
