第一个问题，你要判断这个“插入语”是什么，首先要判断后面是一个什么从句，是定语从句，还是宾语从句，这两个是最容易弄混的。其实不难区分，如果是定语从句，那么必定有一个先行词，而宾语从句一般直接跟在动词后面。在这个句子中，reach后面并没有一个名词来做先行词，所以这是一个宾语从句，而宾语从句是不能用which来引导的，一般引导词有what, when, where等。这里为什么用what而不用where我相信你已经明白的吧？
第二个问题。一个句子的基本结构只有两种，一种是主谓宾，一种是主系表。宾语是跟在谓语动词后面的，而表语是跟在系动词后面的。系动词有如下几种：1，be 动词，如am, is, are.
2, 感官动词，如feel, sound, smell等
3，持续性动词，如keep, stay
4, 还有一些如look, seem, become等
我只列举了一些常用的，还有很多太复杂就不一一列举了。
表语从句和宾语从句用法差不多，如果你会宾语从句，表语从句就很容易掌握了
这句话的意思就是：这座城镇已经不像十年前那样了。
第三个问题，这是一个定语从句问题。楼主的意思是可以把that省略对不对？that是整个定语从句的引导词，只有当先行词在从句中充当宾语的成分时，引导词才可以省略。而在这个句子中，定语从句缺少的是一个主语，因此that不能省略

2. I started to plan my 8 days long holidays since early September and had written down many touring routes.
3.But considering the crowds ring holidays of the National Day, tiring tourists groups and limited budgets, I finally gave up all my plans.
4. I decided to go back to the city where my university is, and I am going to visit those places that I planned to go but never made it.
5. I assume that I will not be bothered by the crowds at those places. I start looking forward to it.
