My dream

I have a lot of dream. When I was a littlegirl, I wanted to be a princess who dresses up with beautiful dresses every day.When I was in the primary school, I liked painting. So I wanted to be apainter.

It was because my mother didn’t allow me totouch the pencil or draw a picture. In fact, my grade was not that good enough.So my mother was angry at me and didn’t allow me to draw.
However, I couldn’t kill my passion towardsmy dream. The sprout of my dream had already germinated in my heart.
Then, I secretly drew and painted behind mymother’s back. At that time, the senior entrance exam came closer. I only hadtwo months left. Usually, I took my canvas with me all the time. Afterfinishing lunch, I didn’t take the nap and went to the art classroom forpractice from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.
At the noon of the second day, I took mydrawing to the dining room. My art teacher waited for me in that room andtaught me how to draw. I was waiting for her to come for one minute, twominutes, five minutes, ten minutes, twenty minutes, thirty minutes …. And shenever came. I didn’t know whether she will come or not, but I only knew thatwaiting for her was my only way to progress. During that period of time, I wasconfused. I threw the pencil, painted a picture, and tore that picture. I wasconfused. I was scared. I was in pain! But I never thought of giving up becauseit was my dream.
Thus, I continued the same process fordays. Finally, my artistic talent was revealed to the public because I passedthe artist exam with a high score and was able to enter one of the top highschool as a specialty student.

❻ 英语翻译和语法

1、and作连接时前后名词作主语或宾语的时候译为“和”;
2、常用形式主语it代替主语从句作形式主语放于句首,而把主语从句置于句末。主语从句后的谓语动词一般用单数形式。常用句型如下:

(1) It + be + 名词 + that从句

It is common knowledge that 是常识

It is a surprise that 令人惊奇的是

It is a fact that 事实是

(2)It + be + 形容词 + that从句

It is necessary that 有必要

要看修饰的对象。that既可指人也可指物;who只能指人;which只能指物。

一.只能用作为定语从句的关系代词的情况 :
1) 在不定代词,如:anything, nothing, everything, all, much, few, any, little等作先行词时,只用that.
All that is needed is a supply of oil.
2) 先行词有the only, the very, the just修饰时,只用that.
He is the very man that helped the girl out of the water .
3) 先行词为序数词(the last)、数词、形容词最高级时,只用that..

4) 先行词既有人,又有物时.
He talked about the teachers and schools that he visited .
5)当主句是以who 或which 开始的特殊疑问句时,用that 以避免重复.

二.不能用that的情况,而用which/who:
非限定性定语从句,逗号后面只能用which。
The sun heats the earth, which is very important to us.

关系代词前有介词时.
This is the hotel in which you will stay.
如有两个定语从句,其中一句的关系代词是that,另一句宜于用which.

❾ 英语语法和翻译小问题(四级以下水平)

why don't we have a break?
Don't we just have one?
如果改为 have some bread(不可数的),那么don't we just have____?填什么?
不知道你想写的是break还是bread,算了,反正都是不可数名词。
这里填代词some比较好,指代前句中的some break(bread)。而且因为后一个问句是希望得到肯定回答的,所以填some不填any。

翻译以下几个句子或短语:电脑大规模走进生活本来会使人们更加的闭门不出.......
