One of the football player is preparing to shoot, but he thinks the goal keeper is so strong that it is impossible to shoot in. Yet the goal keeper is nervous,for he is afraid that he can’t defend the goal successively, feeling that he is too small and lack of ability to defend the goal. It is obvious that both of the football players are not confident enough in themselves.
在考研英语里应该还是很忌讳用逗号直接间隔句子的
不过考完研半年多了 技巧什么的也扔的差不多了……

【不是英语大神但可分析语法】开头用的是be similar to词组放句首省略be动词这个懂吗？专接着how the others leads in the movie 前面做词组的属宾语后面做状语，have their faces based off用的是have sth done词组，意为让……被做，后面是词组的宾语，整个句子similar一直到movie作主语，have为谓语动词，后面是宾语

好吧，感觉错误有点多额，我不是什么砖家，只是想说说自己的看法，楼主不喜回勿喷哈。。答。。开头的初中翻译可以大写，Jingjiang River Middle School，后面那个句子语法错了，Today I want to lecture已经是个句子了，楼主还在后面加is，肯定不行。。还有后面I love sing every time will give…也是一样的错误，一个句子两谓语，句意也不清楚。。还有之后对过去的述说时态也没有到位。。。因为在用手机，不方便打字，只好就说这么多了。。。。

这个句子还是比较复杂，说法上还是很少见，这么理一下看对不对啊：回in particular，作为状语，没答有问题，后面动词有好几个，有depresses，close，和是动词is，如果主主句是arttributing poor performance is to blame， 那么 主语后面的to 带了两个并列比较的复合句做主语的定语，就是 a lack of ability depresses motivation more than close the belief that a lack of effort,

整理一下这句话，真正表达的是
In particular, attributing poor performance to a lack of ability depresses motivation more than does the belief that lack of effort depresses motivation is to blame.
因为 depresses motivation 重复了，所以than后面的比较级内就用does 代替了，而且than里面容有个用法就是省略之后需要倒装，所以就变成了 does the belief that....然后说is to blame， 是说某个东西的原因（主观意识里），说白话就是我们觉得是因为什么原因出错的，这里指的就是attributing poor performance。看到这里再翻译一下这句话就明白了。
特别地，（我们以为）表现不好（的原因）是因为缺乏能力压抑了动机多于缺乏努力付出压抑的。
