Children are known to be inquisitive, active, fond of showing off, imitating and so on. They have a preference for fresh stuff. Their curiosity about the unacquainted languages can arouse their interest in foreign languages. Though with a good ability of memory power and imaginal thinking, they are in lack of the ability of rational thinking and logical thinking. Their necessity of growing up and gaining strength——to play, to sing, to swim and to take part in all sorts of activities, results in their being unable to sit still and for long. All the above mentioned are the idiosyncrasies of the physical and psychological development of the pupils. Children among these ages possess the superiority that many alts even senior students don’ possess, such as the superior ability of imitation, memory and plasticity etc. It helps give play to their potential of mastering languages to offer English courses in primary school. Through the study of this course, their character, civilization and psychological quality can be improved. Foreign language teaching helps the pupils know about foreign countries and their excellent cultures, develop their thought, broaden their horizon, extend thier knowledge and enrich their experiences. And not only that, but it helps to escalate their moral character, and build up their international sense which adjust them to the need of society, economy, science development and international communication. There’s a phenomenon that pupils in grade 6 show less interest in English study and the polarize is a bit serious. So more attention should be focused on helping the underachievers this semester. Facing to all pupils and with the objective of the pupils’ development, teachers need to put the task of arousing the pupils’ interest in study ahead of others, pay attention to stratified teaching, guide the pupils to rectify the study attitude, master a scientific study method and cultivate their good habit of study.

主谓不一致,人称与动词不符。例如:
My sister go to the cinema at least once a week. (误)
My sister goes to the cinema at least once a week. (正)
上面例句中,主语是My sister ,为第三人称,所以谓语动词应该用第三人称单数形式goes才正确,这种主谓不一致的错误在写作中是很常见的问题,稍一疏忽就会犯,考生需要更加细心才行。
句子成分残缺不全,语句不通。例如:
We should read books may be useful to us. (误)
We should read books which may be useful to us. (正)
这是一个定语从句的例句,其中which在从句中做的是主语,所以不能省略,一旦省略就会造成句子成分残缺,考试中大家在写完一句话时要记得读一遍看看通不通顺。
句子成分多余,累赘复杂。例如:
This test is end, but there is another test is waiting for you. (误)
One test ends, but another is waiting for you. (正)

于是仔细分析了一下,感觉错误是这样产生的。
“意外”是一个名字,“是”是一个动词,“可以”在这里也是一个动词。
“避免”同样是一个动词,动词属于实词,当实词“避免”与后面的结构助词“的”结合在一起时,构成了名词短语“避免的”,即“避免的”是一个名词。
好,现在可以来分析一下整个句子的组成了。
名词“意外”作主语,动词“是”作谓语,动词“可以”也只能作谓语,名词短语“避免的”当然是作宾语了,这样的“主-谓-谓-宾”的结构,在语法上是错误的。

修正:

一种简单的办法,是改成“主-谓-宾”的结构。由于有两个动词可供选择,因此也有两种方案:
a、意外是避免的。
这样修改的话,语法上没错,但逻辑上不对。
b、意外可以避免的
这样修改语法和逻辑上就都正确了

还有一种修改方法,即方案C:
c、意外可以避免。
不过在这种方案中,“可以”是副词,“避免”是动词了,句子变成了“主-谓”结构。
