The professor』ssalary is higher than that of a clerk.

9. 英語不常用單詞記不住，到底怎麼辦
其實你自己已經把最主要的問題分析出來了——「自學相對很困難。。。自回學很糾結，沒有答老師教導，誤區太多。。。」
所以解決方案也很明確：別再自學了，報個基礎級別的班。
在學習外語最初的階段，有老師教不僅是少走彎路的問題，而且對很多人來講是不這樣做就不可能成功的問題。如果嫌社會上的培訓機構太貴，也可以考慮到中小學旁聽，或請個家教，最初的幾十個課時有人幫扶，才具備以後自學的條件。
你說的不背單詞的學法我認為不適合你，簡單地說，你已經是成年人，小孩子可以邊玩邊學，花幾年時間慢慢建立語感，而你在生活中要佔用腦力的東西還很多，如果學習外語不能保持足夠強度，是很難堅持到成功的，而且如果單詞不清楚，怎能「細細品味」？但是可以選擇背課文等方法，也可以選擇聽說領先法，不過前提還是有人隨時指導才行。
