B. 小學生口語大賽

這些步驟可以根據學校的具體情況適當刪減。
1.初賽：為給題目自擬文章。提前一周給出所有同回學題目，同答學們自己准備文章（應該是自己寫）。然後一周後分組進行選拔，每組取前三名進入復賽。
2.復賽:復賽的題目是現場回答的，提前不通知選手。但是題目的難度應該不要太大，畢竟是小學生嘛。比如分為三個環節：（1）自我介紹或介紹家裡的一名成員或介紹一個朋友（三分鍾）。（2）由評委用英語提一些小問題，由選手回答，比如自然常識啊什麼的。（3）給出圖片由選手進行描述（三分鍾）
每個環節都要要打分，最後按總分排名。
注意點：最大的評分標准應該是語音語調，其次是運用語言的熟練程度，比如用簡單的詞語表達復雜的內容。其餘的都是沒有這兩項重要的，比如有的同學有可能動作搞的比較花哨，但是基本上說的不多，語音也不好，這樣就不能給高分，因為不是小品比賽，但是在有足夠英語內容支撐下的幽默是很不錯的！

簡介：希望之星英語風采大賽Star of Outlook English Talent Competition
中央電視台「希望之星」英語風采大賽是中央電視台社教節目中心主辦的大型電視英語比賽,大賽本著「培養興趣、增強信心、樹立榜樣 」的原則，為所有愛好英語的電視觀眾提供了一個鍛煉自我，展示自我，捕捉機遇的舞台。賽事秉承推動我國英語教育事業發展，培養多元化人才的宗旨，得到了國務院新聞辦、中央電視台、國家教育部的大力支持、如今，該項賽事已經成功舉辦了8年，其深遠廣泛的影響力受到了社會各界的廣泛關注。
大賽自2000年起至今已經歷8年,每年舉辦一屆,參賽選手涉及各行各業,以在校學生為主,面向全國包括香港，澳門在內的上萬所學校，影響人數超過 3000 萬人。作為每年在中央電視台舉辦的英語風采大賽，本項大賽一直以其無可比擬的學術地位與媒體影響力著稱，被視為國內同類比賽中檔次和規模最高的賽事。
大賽採用先分賽區選拔,再全國總決賽的賽程,無論是分賽區選拔還是全國總決賽,都分為初賽、復賽、決賽，比賽公平激烈。比賽分小學組、初中組、高中組、大學成人組進行比賽，一般從每年10月左右開始分賽區報名，次年5或6月全國總決賽。無論是分賽區比賽，還是全國總決賽，均評選一、二、三等獎、優秀獎等及若干單項獎。
內容：內容以口語為主，個別分賽區有筆試。口語要鍛煉好。大賽進程經過分賽區選拔賽、全國總決賽預選賽和全國總決賽三個階段。分賽區選拔賽採取在各行政區設立分賽區的形式，通過初賽、復賽、決賽三個層次進行選拔，報名的選手根據自己所處的地區到相應的分賽區進行比賽，沒有分賽區的報名選手，由大賽組委會負責選拔。 全國總決賽預選賽和全國總決賽由大賽組委會統一安排。
歷史記錄
2000年2月至7月，首屆大賽舉行，全國分為7個分賽區，20名選手不分組參加了全國總決賽。最後上海外國語大學的詹瑩獲得了首屆大賽第一名，北京外國語大學韓疆，上海外國語大學的邵惟韺分獲二、三名。
首屆大賽的播出，給全國火熱的英語學習浪潮增添了一付催化劑，其靈活多樣的比賽形式，絢麗的視覺效果，輕松愉快的風格，選手們靚麗的青春風采和高超的英語水平讓觀眾耳目一新。
2001年2月至8月，第二屆大賽舉辦，來自19個行政區域的54名選手參加了全國總決賽，北京大學的孫錚，杭州學軍中學的鍾雨柔分獲成人組和少年組的冠軍。選手們不僅得到了鍛煉，彼此還結下了深厚的友誼。
本屆大賽在社會上引起了很大的反響，觀眾報名踴躍。據統計，年齡最大的報名者已經是86歲的老者，而年齡最小的是3歲半的幼童。
2002年2月至7月，第三屆大賽舉辦，36名選手從16個行政區域的報名者中脫穎而出，到北京中央電視台參加了全國總決賽。青島市德縣路小學的楊金，長春外國語學校的劉洪悅，北京語言文化大學的丁苑苑分別捧走小學組、中學組和大學組的冠軍獎杯。
2003年4月21日至27日，第四屆大賽全國總決賽在中央電視台600平米演播室進行。本屆大賽在全國共設置了北京、天津、上海、廣東、江蘇、山東、吉林、湖北、四川、河北10個分賽區，來自全國21個省、市、自治區的45名選手角逐第四屆「希望之星」的冠軍稱號。 最後河北石家莊北新街小學的賈如罄，廣東深圳市東湖中學的李萊茵，湖北武漢大學外語學院的趙為分別成為小學組、中學組和大學組的冠軍。
2004年4月22日至4月29日，第五屆「希望之星」英語風采大賽全國總決賽在中央電視台800平米演播室隆重舉行，來自全國31個省、市、自治區的90名選手經過激烈的角逐，分別奪取了中央電視台第五屆「希望之星」英語風采大賽的各項稱號。
