1. The Great wall
The Great Wall, located in northern China, is 6,700 kilometers long and
thus known as the 「10,000-li Great Wall」. Construction of the wall went
on for more than 2,000 years, from 7 th century to 14 th century AD. The
wall has become a symbol of both China』s proud historyand its present
strength.
2. The Palace Museum
The Palace Museum, also called the Forbidden City, is located in the
center of Beijing. The imperial palace used by emperors of the Ming and
Qing Dynasties is the largest and most complete ancient wooden-structure
building complex in the world. Construction of the Forbidden City
started in 1406 and lasted 14 years. 24 emperors were enthroned there.
3. Zhoukoudian: Home of the Peking Man
Remains of the Peking Man (homo erectus) are located on the Dragon Bone
Hill at Zhoukoudian Village, Fangshan District, Beijing. In the 1920s,
archaeologists discovered the complete skull of Peking Man. Later, more
skull bones as well as stone and bone instruments were unearthed. Peking
Man lived 690,000 years ago, ring Paleolithic times. Findings
indicate that Peking Man knew how to make fires.
4. Qinshihuang』s Mausoleum and Terra-cotta Army
Qinshihuang』s Mausoleum is located in Lintong District, 35 kilometers
east of Xi』an, capital of Shaanxi Province. Construction ofthe mausoleum
lasted 38 years and involved over 700,000 workers. Over the years, a
total of 50,000 important cultural relics have been unearthed. In 1980,
two bronze painted horse-drawn chariots were unearthed. They are the
largest and most complete bronze chariots and horses discovered so far.
In 1974, farmers who were digging a well about 1.5 kilometers east of
Qinshihuang』s Mausoleum discovered three vaults containing Qinshihuang』s
Buried Legion. The largest of the three vaults contains 6,000 life-size
terra-cotta warriors and horses. The collection of warriors is often
bbed the「eighthwonder of the world」.
5. The Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang
Dunhuang Grottoes comprise of the Mogao grottoes, West 1,000-Buddha
Cave, and Yulin Cave. The Mogao Grottoes, representative of the three
sites, are located 25 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang City, Gansu
Province. Construction of the grottoes began in 366 AD. The
well-designed grottoes are a treasure house containing painting,
sculptures, documents, and cultural relics.

英語學習譏構優秀的很多，但不能說每個都會適合你。可以去我目前上版.好.的英語學權習中心去看看，ABC恬下十大英語,spiikrre英語這家還不錯，他們還蠻有系統性的，感覺很好啊！最重要的是性介比很高，課程是可以輕松試聽的。可以把英語生活化比如有時間有機會就記單詞，但不建議「死記硬背」，學唱喜歡的英文歌、看喜歡的英文原聲電影、跟熟人用英語交流，不要總想把英語翻譯成中文，要培養英語思維，譬如你看到chair，知道是什麼就好，不要翻譯成椅子。講英語要自信，不要怕出錯，平時多開口說，持之以恆是最關鍵的，
H. 誰能總結一下英語口語中最常用動詞
在口語的英語當中, 有很多既簡單又實用的動詞, 幾乎是每天都可以聽到好幾遍的. 像是 prop, scoot, hit, roll 這些字眼, 各位知道它們的用法嗎? 這集的筆記目的就是在幫助大家熟悉這些簡單又實用的動詞.
1. Don't prop your feet up.
不要把腳蹺在椅子上.
Prop up 是支撐的意思, 如果用手托著你的頭, 這動作就叫 prop your head up. 蠻實用的. 還有有的時候我們用東西把門撐住, 讓它不會自動關起來, 這個就叫 prop the door. 所以我住的地方樓下都會貼出告示, Don't prop the door open.
剛來美國時, 我發覺美國的女孩子作風都蠻開放的, 她們在學校時喜歡把腳蹺在旁邊的椅子上, 或是看電影時就把腳蹺在前面的座位上, 所以在他們的觀念中, prop up 其實並不算是一種壞習慣.
2. Scoot up.
向前一點.
Scoot 這個字如果你去查字典, 它告訴你的解釋是: "輕快地奔跑", 但是一般在日常生活中如果用到 scoot 這個字的話, 則是表示稍微移動一下的意思. 比如說有一次我去圖書館念書, 我坐在我的位置上, 把走道都堵死了, 結果有一個老美要過過不去, 他要我把椅子稍微向前移動一下, 他會說 Scoot up. 你也可以說 scoot up a little bit, 表示往前靠一點點.
3. Scoot over.
往旁邊靠一點.
Scoot up 是往前, scoot over 則是往旁邊的意思. 最常見的情況就是比如照像時有人站太旁邊了, 要請他靠中間一點, 就跟他說 Can you scoot over? 他就會了解. 又比如說別人坐在一張長椅子上, 你要人家向旁邊挪出一個位子給你, 你也可以說 Scoot over please. 如果你的發音他還能了解的話, 他就會往旁邊靠一些, 讓出一個位子給你.
4. I am going to hit the bed in ten minutes.
我在十分鍾內就要上床睡覺了.
這句對於用膩了 go to the bed 的人可說是一大福音, 這句話要來的更為傳神, 就是指整個人倒在床上的動作, 另外還有一種說法, 但是比較少人用, 你可以說 hit the hay. Hay 是稻草, 大概前人都睡稻草上, 所以才會這么說吧!
5. It won't be long before we hit the road.
離我們上路的時間不久了.
Hit the road 就是上路, 所以 hit 這個字用途蠻廣的, 它既可以代表上床, 也可以代表上路. 這個對話是有一次我去美國的一個接待家庭住的時候, 我們正在吃早餐, 男主人就跟我說, It's not long before we hit the road. 其實他就是嫌我吃太慢了, 要我吃快一點, 因為我們快要出門了.
6. All things ought to be rolling at 4:30
所有的事情要在 4:30 開始.
To be rolling 就等於 begin, 但是這是相當口語化的一個句子. 個人非常喜歡這句. 我忽然想到中文裡也有類似的用法喔! 例如我們說, 讓世界開始轉動. 這個轉動就相當於 rolling. 有時你也可以說成 Let's get the ball rolling. 讓我們開始作事吧.
Roll 還有一個用法跟中文的 '我們可以滾了' 很像, 像有一次我跟老美去一家餐廳用完餐, 就有人說了, OK, Let's roll, let's roll out of here. 是不是就是我們可以滾了的意思呢?

她一直在對我嘮叨.
Bitch 一共有三種意思, 1. female dog,2. complain, 3. prostitute. 所以, 沒事不要亂用用錯了! 不過一般說來, 當 bitch 當動詞用時就是嘮叨的意思. 我的一個結了婚的同學有一次不知道是不是有感而發, 跑來跟我說, My wife bitches all the time!

你必須把握機會.
我們說把握機會, 這個"把握"老美都是用 jump 或用 leap 這兩個動詞, (雖然它們都是"跳"的意思) , 不知道為什麼..另外 opportunity 這個字也作機會講, 所以動詞也要用 jump 或是 leap. 例如有學校提供給你 scholarship, 問你要不要去念, 你就可以說, I'll jump at the opportunity.
9. I can hold the cup for you.
我以幫你拿著這個杯子.
Hold 和 take 在中文都是解釋成"拿", 但在英文就不一樣了, hold 是拿著某樣東西, 而 take 是說去拿某樣東西. 這句話可能很多人會講成 I can take the cup for you. 這樣講就不太對了.

第一次老美跟我這樣說, 我答 Yes, 可是我卻獃獃地站在那不知道他到底要我做什麼. 這種情況多半是他手上拿了很多東西, 無法自己開門, 要你幫他扶著門, 不要讓門關上了!
一、表示「使/讓……」概念的動詞
這類動詞常見的有have,let,make,get,keep,drive,send,leave,force,
cause等.它們後邊分別可跟不定式，分詞，形容詞、介詞短語，名詞等作賓語補足語。
例如：I felt sorry to have kept you waiting for me so long.對不起，讓你久等了。
The victory sent our spirits rising.勝利使得我們情緒高漲。
二、不定式做賓補，不定式符號可以省略的動詞
常見的有see,watch,hear,observe,feel,notice,listen to,look at等感官動詞及表示使役概念的have,let,mak等。這類詞在變為被動語態時，其後不定式符號to通常要補出。
例如：We are made to work far into the night.我們被迫幹活到深夜。註：在這種結構中，watch，have,let一般不變為被動語態。如： The boy was watched to come out。(錯誤）
三、不定式作賓語補足語、其後內容省略而只保留不定式符號的動詞。此類動詞常見的有refuse,want,intend,oblige,mean,expect,tell,hope,like,love,
plan, try, prefer,wish等。
例如:-----Why did you cause the baby cry?
------I didn't mean to.
四、引導賓語從句、虛擬預期的動詞。這類動詞在引導賓語從句時為should+動詞原形，should可以省略，這類動詞有order,demend,suggest,insist,
require,advise,decide,propose等。
例如：He orderd that we should do it at once.
他要求我們立即完成這項工作。
He adviced we should do more speaking practising in order to improve our English.他建議我們要想提高英語水平應多練習說話。
五、形主動、意義被動的詞。常見的有work,open,close,write,cut,
look,teach,operate,run,keep,burn,last等。此類詞的主語常為「物」而不是「人」。而且還常與表示特徵、狀況、行為、方式的副詞well,easily,long等連用。
例如：The clothing sells well.
This kind of fruit can keep long.
六、行為動詞充當系動詞。這類動詞不能單獨構成動詞片語，其後須帶有表語（名詞、形容詞、副詞、介詞短語，不定式，V-ing，V-ed）構成系表結構，常見的有feel, sound, taste, look, smell, seem, appear, become, turn, grow, make, go, run, keep, stay, prove等。
例如：It sounded like a train that was going under my house.
聽起來，象有火車在樓下飛馳而過。
Keep fit,study hard and wok well.身體好，學習好，工作好。
七、只接名詞作賓語的動詞。此類動詞常見的有: appreciate,advice,
suggest, compete, finish,consider,enjoy,imagine,mind,miss,
practise,keep, delay,risk,excuse,resist,avoid,escape,admit,forgive, permit,require,prevent,pardon,allow等。
例如：I appreciate her devoting herself to the cause of ecation.我非常欽佩她獻身教育的精神。
Do you mind my asking a question?我問你一個問題你不介意吧？
八、既可接現在分詞又可接過去分詞作賓補的動詞。此類動詞常見的有：get,keep,have,leave,find,see,notice,hear等。
例如：The two cheats had the lightes burning all night long.
Yesterday XiaoMing had his hair cut,I hardly recognized him.
九、同一詞語用作及物動詞與不及物動詞。此類動詞的及物與不及物用法是有區別的，常見的有；work,wait/wait，for,lie/lay,raise/rise,
sit/seat,serve等。
例如：If you have any question to ask in class,you can raise your hands.課堂上有什麼問題可以舉手發問。
The sun rising,we started out.太陽升起來了，我們便開始上路。
十、構成固定短語的「短語動詞」。此類動詞在英語中數量較大。如；act as充當，believe in相信,come across遇見,deal with處理,engage in從事,
lead to導致,refer to提到,send for派人前往,cut in插嘴 die out滅絕,
rise up起義, set off出發,warm up暖和起來,make fun of取笑,
make friends with與……交朋友,set fire on點火,date back to追溯到,
get along with 與……相處,look forward to期望,run out of用光,
do away with廢除.
例如：We must look into the matter immediately.
我們必須馬上調查此事。
The old should learn form the young and keep up with.
老年人應向青年人學習，跟上時代發展的步伐。
