考前准備：正所謂 "知己知彼，百戰不殆"? 既然考生知道考試的題型，可以自己在家做模擬練習，找一篇350字左右的英語短文，在規定的時間內默讀完短文，然後自問自答，模擬考試的情形，反復練習。就第二部分而言，雖然第二部分涉及的范圍大，無法預測主考老師要問什麼樣的問題，但是還是有規律可循的。主考老師為了確認考生的姓名和考號，一般會讓考生做一個簡短的自我介紹(self-introction)，其中包括姓名、畢業學校、業余愛好、特長等內容，所以，考生提前准備一個自我介紹是非常必要的。還有，提前准備一些關於你的家庭、家鄉、校園生活、學習、業余愛好、旅遊、假期活動、對社會問題的認識等等的資料， 例如，家中共幾口人，父母的職業等等。另外，如果考生不想刻意的准備考試? 也可以選擇大聲朗讀一些英語文章，糾正一下自己的發音或音調，培養起自己的英語語感。
