when I first stood in the front of GZCAC, I felt so excited that I could』t help shouting out that I was here, my ideal college!
Before I came to the college, Expressions on college in my heart are very perfect. However, it didn』t seemed what I wanted. In the first week, I couldn』t find the direction leading me to the right way, just like in a dim fog not to find the east and west. Besides,I couldn』t get adapted to the study environment in my dorm. As a matter of fact,I had been in the habbit of getting up early with the record on so as to listen to my English.but it was not permitted in the dorm just because English was not scene and the time of their getting up was too late.Yeah!I didn』t want to be the public enermy.Finally,I had no choice but to accept the fact .Afterwards,little by little , I became overtaxed and eventually fell victim to the Yu Men」sydrome—「Yu Men」 being stressful misery. literally,I was overwrought from the pressure of work and life at college.I wanted experience and own almost everything.Emotionally,I was just like a insatiable kid whose hand had got stuck in the candy jam with too many sweets.This is me in my first semester.
Luckily,I didn』t suffer for too long from the 「get everything」 fantasy,Now I have found what I want in reality.I am learning which choices to make.Joining this oral English competition , for instance ,have been one.So today I stand here……Thank you.

She answered with a smile, 「Yes I am sometimes very tired but seeing my patients getting better and better makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.」
As I grow up, I graally come to understand her words and realize doctors are noble. I made up my mind to be a doctor when I was in junior school and this has never changed since then.
I really hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no Aids, no fatal disease, no one suffering from illness. But this is only a fantasy. What about the reality? There are still many many people who are faced with disastrous disease and suffering from constant pain. There are still many many people living in miserable condition and live miserably. There are still many many people dying of cancer and leaving the beautiful world reluctantly. All those things make me feel sad because I think everyone has the right to live . I want to help the sick and rece their pain as much as I can. I want to bring a healthy body to the patients and save their lives as many as I can. I want to see people cured ,living happily with their families and friends after my treatment. So I want to be a doctor ,an angel in white.
When I become a doctor, I will cherish each life regardless of the races, sexes, ages, positions and occupations. I will do every bit to cure the incurable.
I already have a dream in my heart,so I have to make every effort to realize it.As a high school student now,I will seize every chance to study hard,arm myself with knowledge, prepare myself for the future and strive for my dreams. I will be determined, face the reality bravely and not surrender to any problems I meet.

First, I』ll say something about World Expo History. As we know, the very first World Expo, the Great Exhibition of 1851, took place in the Crystal Palace in London. UK. Ever since then, the goals of World Expos have been both high-minded as well as commercial. Visitors are able to explore the world outside of their everyday experience—outside cultures, new scientific advancements, and new inventions. World Expos have excited and inspired more and more people in the world.
On December3, 2002, the Bureau of International Expositions (or call it BIE) announced that Shanghai will host Expo2010. the BIE had received bids from five cities to host Expo2010. Among the 5 nice cities, the BIE chose Shanghai at last! It』s really an exciting news for not only Shanghainese, but also all of Chinese people. Here are some details about it.
Look at this profile carefully. The title is 「The 2010 World Exposition ,Shanghai, China 」. this is the logo.
And the theme is 「better city., better life」.OK, let』s guess who is the image representative? Yeah, you』re right, Yao Ming!
Shanghai Expo is the first comprehensive World Expo held in a developing country. And it is also the first one that takes 「the city」 as its theme, hoping that it can push forward the city development and help bring about a better urban living environment, just like the theme: better city, better life.

Like every parents in the world, they gave food and clothes for me. They often told me some things about life, making me understand what was wrong and what was right.
But sometimes I didn』t understand my parents. I still remember an unhappy event in my childhood. Once, I played with some children. Among us, there was an older boy. I can』t remember what was happening. But I still remember clearly he gave me a hit first, then I hit him back. We both cried. My parents and his parents came out to see what had happened. I believe my parents would give me a hand , but to my surprise, after my parents had known what had happened, they just gave me a beat, I was so sad, and cried again. After we got home, I asked:「Mom, Dad. Don』t you love me any more?」 My parents look at me, and said:「No matter who was right, don』t you remember what I have told you before? You are a girl, and you must have a big heart.」 My parents always had their own way to make me understand things.
I love my parents. I am proud of them.

How I learn to speak English.
I think, in order to speak English fluently, The most important thing is to lay a good foundation. That is to pronounce English words correctly and to have a good intonation. I spent a lot of time in reading aloud my lessons which helped me a lot in clear pronunciation and correct intonation.
The second thing is to memory a lot of sentence patterns. The third important thing I believe is to practice. Speaking English is just like any kind of skill. You can only attain excellence through practicing.
The last is to form a habit of thinking in English If you think in Chinese and translate them in your mind into English before you open your mouth to speak, you would never be able to talk fluently and naturally.
In conclusion, I want to make clear that there is much to be desired in my oral English. I have to keep on studying and practicing in order to improve my English. That』s all .Thank you!

Then one day the circle found a piece that fit perfectly.It was so happy.Now it could be whole, with nothing missing.It incorporated the missing piece into itself and began to roll.Now that is was a perfect circle,it could roll very fast,too fast to notice the flowers or to talk to the worms. When it realized how different the world seemed when it rolled so quickly, it stopped,left its found piece by the side of the road and rolled slowly away.

For young generation,there 『s no doubt that men and women are created equal ,the saying that women come to be part of men is unable to convince all the modern people .
However , there』re still female workers have no accesses to some jobs which』re said to be available for male only around us . Nowadays ,more and more people get to know that women,who hold up half the sky , are no longer what they were decades of years ago.The number of women who have great influence on our country or big companies is growing up rapidly.
Nevertheless ordinary women』s social status is still unfavorable. The reason why this phenomenon happens is that a social realization of no discrimination about sex hasn』t come to us .Thus ,the principle task for us is not to adore the minority inspiring women but to pay attention to the majority ones who』re still treated unequally.
