Ⅷ 10句英語口語的陷阱，你出坑了嗎

1.英語怎樣說?
錯誤：How to say?
正確：How do you say this in English?
記住how to say只能作為句子里的一部分，不能夠單獨出現!
2.明天我有事兒。
錯誤：I have something to do tomorrow.
正確：Sorry but I am tied up all day tomorrow.
明天我有事兒，意思是我很忙。
所以想表達很忙、無法脫身的時候，就直接說吧!
I'm tied up. I'm afraid I can't make it at that time. I'd love to, but I can't. I have to stay at home.
3 .我想我並不行。
錯誤：I think I can't.
正確：I don't think I can.
英語否定前置和漢語的習慣大不相同。漢語裡面說「我想我不會」時，英語里說「我不認為我會」。
4.舞跳得不好。
錯誤：I don』t dance well.
正確：I am not a very good dancer.
當說不擅長做什麼事情時，英語裡面通常用not good at something。
5.現在是幾點了?
錯誤：What time is it now?
正確：What time is it, please?
其實，講英語的時候沒必要說now，因為不可能問昨天的時間也不可能問剛才的時間。
而且一般現在時已經代表now的意思了。

這句話會讓老外聽來很奇怪。
只要說：那方面懂得不多，或者我不在行，就行了：

以英語為母語的人用of course的頻率比中國的學生低得多，只有在回答一些眾所周知的問題時才說of course。

在交談時，用sure或certainly效果會更好。

錯誤：I feel very painful in my right hand.
