「我要比洋人強。」這句話是我國著名物理學家楊振寧小時候立下的承諾。今天，我在課本上看到一篇愛國文章：《我要比洋人強》，讀完這篇文章，我受益匪淺！
這篇文章主要講了：有一天，小振寧家來了幾位客人，他們問小振寧長大想不想做大官，而小振寧卻說他不想做大官，還說了一句話：「我要比洋人強！」原來小振寧一天在大街上撿樹葉時看見一個車夫正在很努力的拉著人力車，而車上的洋人卻破口大罵車夫，還用皮鞋蹬著車夫的脊背。小振寧看後很憤怒；還有一次，小振寧看到幾個持槍的洋人正在欺侮一個佝僂著背的乞丐。從此，小振寧就立下承諾：「我要比洋人強」。後來小振寧發奮學習，1945年，他前往美國深造，受到費爾米教授的高度評價。
讀完這篇文章後，我不僅想起「我要比洋人強」這句話，從中我體會到楊振寧從小就有「愛國」的精神，他寧願不做大官，不要金銀珠寶，也不能忘記自己是中國人，這種品質是值得我們學習的！
像楊振寧這樣愛國的人士很多，徐悲鴻就是其中一個。徐悲鴻年輕時就在法國巴黎徐梁畫院和巴黎國力高等學校學習繪畫。他在畫院向一個外國學生挑戰，看看誰是人才。從此，徐悲鴻就下定決心，一定要學好繪畫，為祖國爭氣，為中華民族爭光！他經常到羅浮宮，凡爾賽宮和巴黎各大博物館去臨摹世界名畫，一去就是一整天。最後，徐悲鴻用他自己的努力為中國人爭了一口氣。
你們看，徐悲鴻和楊振寧這兩位愛國人士為我們祖國爭了多少口氣啊！但是也有部分中國人不知道愛國，不把愛國放在第一位，只是為了自身的利益，就出賣祖國利益，這真是中華民族的敗類。例如日本侵略中國時有些人為了身存，竟然投靠侵略者，去和日本小鬼子「並肩作戰」，他們還配得叫「中國人」嗎！
今天看完這篇文章，我明白了：人不可有傲氣，但不可無傲骨！同時，我告訴大家：作為龍的傳人，我們一定要把「愛國」放在第一位！
