My future
As the song goes 「 My future isn』t a dream .」 I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . 「 I want to be a doctor .」 「 I want to be a teacher .」 and 「 I 』d like to be a scientist !」 Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .
How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it』s hard work , and I 』ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I』ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there 』s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won』t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .

翻開20世紀的壯麗篇章，我們發現人類在這百年中不僅經歷了血與火的洗禮，更創造了無數科學奇跡。19世紀法國著名科幻小說家凡爾納的虛構，當時讓人不可思議，他所幻想的登月旅行、飛機、遠射程炮等，在20世紀都一一成為現實。在21世紀的今天，高科技更是無處不在。
作為跨世紀的一代，我們又該以怎樣的姿態去適應新世紀，擔起新世紀的重擔呢？ 科學技術的日新月異，使得科學不只為尖端技術服務，也越來越多地滲透到我們的日常生活之中，這就需要正處於青少年時代的我們熱愛科學，學習科學。參加科技「五小」比賽、閱讀科技書籍，使我明白了許多道理。精密的機器人，不用燃料的汽車，虛擬的足球賽，高科技信息的傳送等等，一個個生動有趣的現象，激起了我探索科學的願望。
我們每個人都要學習科學，傳播文明，在享受新生活的同時，更要創造新生活，如今，科技產品的更新換代不斷加快，可視電視、電腦上網、心臟起搏器，已經不算新鮮了。從1901年發明的真空吸塵器，到人造地球衛星、載人宇宙飛船，科技在不同領域里顯示出了強大的力量。電子產業、通訊技術的日益普及，納米技術、超導材料的廣泛應用，不久的一天，也許就在你的餐桌上，會出現像太空青椒、人造牛排等生物工程食品。學習科學技術，不僅僅是為了成為科學家，也是為了能適應生活，更為了能成為新世紀的主人，擔起新世紀，為國家建設，為人類文明做出貢獻。
新中國成立以來，我國的科技發展突飛猛進，人工合成胰島素、斷手再植、雜交水稻、爆炸原子彈和氫彈、發射人造衛星和飛船等等，這些令世人矚目的科技成就，大大縮短了我國和先進國家的科學技術的差距，為我國的現代化建設注入了活力。鄧小平爺爺說「科學技術是第一生產力」，的確如此，科學為我們祖國的騰飛插上了翅膀。毛澤東主席曾對青年說，世界是你們的，也是我們的，但歸根結底是你們的。這句話，飽含了長輩們對我們的殷切期望。如果說長輩們用辛勤的勞動建設了20世紀的祖國，那麼，我們就應該以知識、以科學擔起新世紀的重擔。
同學們，我們正處於成長發育階段，學習科學，讓我們從小做起。我們要努力學好各種文化課，因為這是一切學習的基礎；同時，對各種適合我們小學生看的科普書籍、報刊，最好在課余多閱讀一些；還應該積極動手搞各種科學小實驗、小製作，寫科學小論文等，培養對科學的興趣。長此下去，我們一定能夠熱愛科學，擁有豐富的科學知識。 人類的智慧是無限的，無論是美國的挑戰者號爆炸，還是全球計算機病毒的升級，從來都不能阻止人類的科技進步。「知識就是力量」，培根這句膾炙人口的格言不知激勵了多少渴求知識的人。如今，讓我們也用它來勉勵自己，做一個熱愛科學的新一代，擔起新世紀的重任，為我們祖國的明天，譜寫出更加輝煌的詩篇！

Man』s life is a process of growing up, actually I』m standing here is a growth. If a person』s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that』s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.
Once my teacher said :」 you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.」 I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, ring these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this 「future」, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.

Keep Your Direction 堅持你的方向
What would you do if you failed? Many people may choose to give up. However, the surest way to success is to keep your direction and stick to your goal.
On your way to success, you must keep your direction. It is just like a lamp, guiding you in darkness and helping you overcome obstacles on your way. Otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead.
Direction means objectives. You can get nowhere without an objective in life.
You can try to write your objective on paper and make some plans to achieve it. In this way, you will know how to arrange your time and to spend your time properly. And you should also have a belief that you are sure to succeed as long as you keep your direction all the time.
