詞彙書推薦：劉毅10000或者星火式詞彙。閱讀的話，選擇一些經典名著，原版的，還有英文報刊，中國日報，21世紀等。翻譯書推薦：張培基的英譯中國現代散文108篇。聽力：自己下載一些BBC\VOA什麼的聽，或者嫌麻煩就買本星火的專項吧，裡面都是從VOA,BBC上面的，有原文，方便些。如果是應對專四專八考試或是英專考研的話，建議選擇星火的，星火在英專領域算是國內最權威的了，我們基本上都用的是星火的，一是習慣了星火的試卷解析，很透徹，二是星火在押題這一塊確實很准。

是一系列的，可以根據自己的水平選擇所屬的級別
《企鵝英語內讀物容》與上一種相似，也是分級讀物
《大家說英語》或《空中英語教室》是學慣用的首選，閱讀不是那麼多，但是語法和詞彙的講解很細致。

一、作為英語專業的學生，應該是多看一些外國英文名著，對文學素養和英語學習都有幫助。一般大學教師都會對學生有所推薦。以下列出一些常讀的經典外國英文名著供選擇：

二、英語專業學生讀英語名著的注意事項：
1、可以使用該名著的漢譯本做名著的輔助讀物，但不可以進行英漢對照式的閱讀。
讀英語版本時不要看漢語的，讀漢語時就不要看英語的。可以先讀一遍漢語版然後再讀一遍英語版，或者反過來。
（2）可以使用詞典，但不可以逢詞必查。
沒有詞典的幫助閱讀則顯得非常的困難，但讀名著是為了讀名著的意思。只有把心思用在意義的解讀上時，才能擺脫詞彙量的束縛，只有在拋開了積累詞彙學習英語等基本想法之後，才能夠做到詞彙的高度積累，語法體系的高度完善，英語水平的高度發展。
（3）可以淺嘗則止，但不可以半途而廢。
一旦開始了英語名著的閱讀，就不要輕言放棄，哪怕是整部書讀得一點兒也不理想。閱讀就是這樣，在感到沒收獲的時候，其實許多知識都潛移默化地進入了腦海。

The Thorn Bird written by Colleen McCollough,《荊棘鳥》,被稱之為澳大利亞的《漂》，語言也不晦澀，情節有些復雜，跨度專比較大，但屬是引人入勝，可以幫助學生進入情節。The World is Flat: A brief history of 21st century,《世界是平的 21世紀簡史》,written by Thomas Friedman 這一本是跟文學無關的，講全球化的，這本書語言非常淺顯易懂，而且很生動。
㈤ 英語專業的學生應該看哪些書
要看你是哪種類型的翻譯方向了，如果是學術型研究生，那主要是搞翻譯理論，內那就要看翻譯理容論的書了。Nida, Venuti, Jakobson, Toury, Reiss,等等，他們都是各個派別的翻譯學家。然後你還要看有名的譯本，要中英文原版的，譯文文本還要有幾個譯本，然後對比哪個譯本好，哪裡好。有空的時候可以看英文原著小說。本人覺得學習翻譯，首先要學好漢語，所以快去惡補你的漢語水平吧。
