1、感覺生詞多,關鍵詞語把握不到；

主要解決辦法：

小學英語的學習方法
現在，小學生開始學習英語的時間越來越早，一年級就開設了英語課。但是，由於許多孩子未養成良好的學習習慣，覺得學英語太枯燥、太難，導致對英語學習產生厭煩甚至畏懼心理。

現在，許多小學生學英語還存在不少陋習，如習慣於死記硬背，喜歡通過漢語注音來記憶英語單詞，不會用英語交流，不太講究英語閱讀技能的學習，課後不復習等，家庭也缺乏英語學習氛圍。目前，許多家長過於看重學生的英語學習，盲目讓孩子參加英語培優，或布置過多的聽、說、讀、寫練習，反而忽視了對孩子學習興趣、學習方法的培養。

學法的掌握，如同知識的獲得一樣，有一個從無到有，從少到多，從不會到會的發展過程。開始，在很大程序上要靠教師在教給知識的過程中，主動明確的指點。諸如怎樣發言答問，怎樣執筆寫字，怎樣拼讀音節，怎樣觀察插圖，怎樣識記字形理解字義，怎樣讀詞讀句，怎樣組詞造句，怎樣說完整的話等等，都需要教師在向學生提出學習要求的同時，——講明學習的方法。不單對初入學無知少法的學生需要事先指明，就是中高年級已經掌握了一些知識和學習方法的學生，在進入較難的學習內容時，也需要事先指明。如運用中心句作段意的方法；連接段意概括文章的主要內容的方法，在概括文章主要內容，分析作者寫作目的的基礎上歸納中心思想的方法等等，也都要在第一次接觸這些方法時由教師事先指明。

除了課後復習外，還可以在雙休日進行定期復習和每個月進行一次階段復習，將所學的知識系統化，條理化。在復習時，要注意以下幾點：

1、復習的方法要多樣化。復習不等於簡單重復，要適當變化形式，力求生動、形象、有趣、有效。如可以採用誦讀與譯背等方式復習，也可以在運用知識過程中復習，也就是在實踐中復習。

2、復習分量要適當，既要避免過度疲勞，又要適度提倡「過度復習」。避免過度疲勞可適當分散復習。「過度復習」是指對需要牢牢記住的學習內容達到初步掌握後仍不停止，而是繼續進行學習識記，達到完全鞏固的程度。如背一課的英語單詞，背了五遍就能記住時，還要繼續背三遍，這三遍叫「過度復習」。花的時間雖多了一點，但對中小學生的學習很有幫助。

3、復習時要對學過的知識繼續加工，使之條理化、系統化。這就要求在復習中把新舊知識聯系起來，增強記憶。這樣，你的知識結構才能扎實

本課主要是繼續學慣用 It has...這個句型來描述大象的外形，初步學習描述物體的外貌特徵。

1.准備一些可拆分的動物圖片（類似於拼圖），如：pig,dog,bear,cat...用以復習和操練。

4.學生帶自己喜歡的動物玩具。

Step1 Revision
(1)課前播放歌曲 Fruit song ,使學生感受英語學習的氛圍。
(2)根據錄音里的聲音猜出是那種動物，復習有關動物的詞彙。
(3)根據老師的指令做出動作，如：Touch your ears. Touch your eyes.等，復習器官名稱。（2）、（3）兩項內容可以大大激發學生學習興趣，並為授新課打下基礎。

(1)學習big和small。教師拿出大小形成對比的實物（或用簡筆畫畫出），說：This T-shirt is big. That one is small. 做游戲練習big與small。教師發出指令：Touch the big cake.學生分組進行比賽。學生也可發指令。
(2)教師出示大象的玩具或圖片，然後指著大象對學生說：Look at the elephant. Wow, it's so big.並藉助動作幫助學生理解句意。讓學生根據黑板上的其他的動物圖片進行練習，如：:Look at the pig. Wow! It's so big.使學生逐漸從模仿過渡到運用。教師繼續指著大象圖片說：Look, it has big ears. And small eyes.藉助手勢幫助學生理解句意。請同學邊做邊重復老師的句子。
(3)請一些學生依據黑板上的圖片為線索表演本課對話。

分組練習
