《Nature》雜志1869年創刊於英國，是世界上最早的國際性科技期刊，涵蓋生命科學、自然科學、臨床醫學、物理化學等領域。

自成立以來，始終如一地報道和評論全球科技領域里最重要的突破，影響因子40.137（17年數據）。其辦刊宗旨是「將科學發現的重要結果介紹給公眾，讓公眾盡早知道全世界自然知識的每一分支中取得的所有進展」。

《科學》（英語：Science）是美國科學促進會（英語：American Association for the Advancement of Science，AAAS）出版的一份學術期刊，為全世界最權威的學術期刊之一。

Science的發展：

1880年，紐約新聞記者約翰·邁克爾斯（英語：John Michaels）創立了《科學》，這份期刊先後得到了托馬斯·愛迪生以及亞歷山大·格拉漢姆·貝爾的資助。但由於從未擁有足夠的用戶而難以為繼，《科學》於1882年3月停刊。

一年後，昆蟲學家Samuel Hubbard Scudder使其復活並取得了一定的成功。然而到了1894年，《科學》重新陷入財政危機，隨後被以500美元的價格轉讓給心理學家James McKeen Cattell。

Citations and Impact Factor
In 2005 Nature generated nearly 10,000 more citations than in 2004, and 26,000 more citations than its closest competitor, making it the world's most highly citated multidisciplinary science journal. Nature's impact factor for 2005 was 29.273 (Source: Journal Citaton Reports, 2006, Thomson Scientific). The fall of nearly three points on 2004 was primarily e to the increased numbers of published articles.

我覺得應該是科學雜志，因為英語閱讀除了提高英語，也達到教育的目的，喚起學生對科學的熱愛。而報紙主要是報道一些新聞實事，更偏重於對新發明的報道。謝謝採納！

I. 美國雜志《科學》和《自然》是月刊還是期刊

都是周刊。

1、美國《科學》雜志為周刊 ，一年51期，全球發行量超過150萬份。《科學》（英語：Science）是美國科學促進會（出版的一份學術期刊，為全世界最權威的學術期刊之一。
