Teenagers』 Secrets Should be Shared with Their Parents
This passage mainly says that many teenagers have their own secrets but parents always want to know them, which will probably hurt children』s feeling. As a result, children won』t like to share their secrets with their parents.
Some people believed that parents should allow their teenage children to keep their own secrets. Teenagers are going through a special period .Wondering about and puzzled by changes of their body and mind, afraid to get misunderstood when their parents know it, they choose to alts』 behavior secretly. Parents should respect the right of their children .
This idea sounds right but is actually wrong .
Most of the teenagers』 secrets, if not at all, should be shared by their parents. Many of their secrets kept to themselves may do them unimaginable harm. I am speaking from my experience. Unlike many of other teenagers, I always let my parents know my secrets. They are always ready to offer me valuable advice about how to deal with my troubles and puzzles. I am happy to have such understanding parents who can share my secret with me and help me to live a happy life in this special time.

I was grateful to participate in the book reading festival hosted by the school. I learned a lot from it. I noticted that before, I used to read a lot less. This festival really encouraged me to read more. I signed out some books from the library, based on the librarian's recommendations. I read some books such as Harry Potter and the Penguin Classics series. The Penguin Classics series was very reader friendly for beginners, since it features short stories, and also has very interesting plot. I have noticed some benefits of reading such as improving my vocabulary, and having interesting reflection about what I have read. It can be quite enjoyable to sit down and read a book if there can be time set aside for it.

Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand: Today my best friend slapped me in the face.
They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decide to take a bath. The one who has been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning but his friend saved him. After he recovered from the fright, he wrote on a stone: Today my best friend saved my life.
The friend, who has slapped and saved his best friend, asked him,」 After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now, you write on a stone, why?」
The other friend replied:」 When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand, where the winds of forgiveness can erase it away, but when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.」
Learn to write your hurts in sand, then you forget about the hatred. Learn to carve your gratitude in stone, then you know how to care about other people around you. This is what I have learned from this story. And I also believe that if everyone does like this, the world will become a better place.

今年暑假，我先把老師留的作業寫完了，八月份的時候媽媽帶我去白雲山玩兒。我們坐的車子經過三個多小時的路程到達了山腳下，我們又換了車上山，那裡的山路彎彎曲曲，像一條長長的絲帶通向山腰。我們在路上看到了山尖幾乎都碰到藍天了，山腳下的樓房都像是一個個小盒子，人就像是一隻只螞蟻。
到了山腰，我們安排好住處，吃過中午飯，我們就開始去爬山了。我的心情非常激動，爬山的道路時而彎曲，時而陡峭，而山路兩旁到處鳥語花香，青松翠柏林立，樹上還有一隻只可愛的小松鼠在跳來跳去，快樂的玩耍著。爬到一半的時候，我們周圍已經霧蒙蒙的，天氣也很冷。終於我們爬到了山頂，站在山頂上放眼望去，四周雲霧繚繞，就像到了仙境一樣，感覺自己在騰雲駕霧。
第二天，我們又去看了九龍瀑布，當我看到九龍瀑布的時候，那般景象沒法比喻，瀑布從高山上傾瀉下來，撿起團團水花，形成一層層薄薄的霧，讓我情不自禁的想起了李白的名句：飛流直下三千尺，疑是銀河落九天。
白雲山的景象真美，我真喜歡它呀！
