When a light passenger plane flew off course some time ago, it crashed in the mountains and its pilot was killed. The only passengers, a young woman and her two baby daughters, were unhurt. It was the middle of winter. Snow lay thick on the ground. The woman knew that the nearest village was miles away. When it grew dark, she turned a suitcase into a bed and put the children inside it, covering them with all the clothes she could find. During the night, it got terribly cold. The woman kept as near as she could to the children and even tried to get into the case herself, but it was too small. Early next morning,she heard planes passing overhead and wondered how she could send a signal. Then she had an idea. She stamped out the letters 'SOS' in the snow. Fortunately, a pilot saw the signal and sent a message by radio to the nearest town. It was not long before a helicopter arrived on the scene to rescue the survivors of the plane crash.參考譯文

Nowadays, English is considered to be a global language so we can use it to communicate with people from other countries more easily. Therefore, we believe that more attention should be given to teaching and learning spoken English and this can be done by testing spoken English.

Because parents are having fewer children, they increasingly feel the need to control the lives of those children. As a result, many children are becoming less independent, determined and ambitious than in the past.
Parents today discourage their children from doing housework, extracurricular activities and socializing because they fear it will interrupt their ecation. For example, when I was younger I wanted to learn the guitar but my parent wouldn』t allow me because they believed it would distract me from my studies. They are happy as long as I perform well in my exams but don』t seem concerned about how I develop as a person.
To some extend, I understand parents』 concerns, but I think they should love their children for who they are, not what they want them to be. We deserve the chance to chase our own dreams and learn on our own. Even if we fail, we can learn from those failures.

這次閱讀出的很活，來但是前源3篇都是比較有跡可尋的。最後一篇相對抽象一些。
如果你都不好的話，我覺得你的單詞量和對單詞的反應是不是比較慢，或者是你閱讀廣度和深度都不夠（這里包括中文和英文的閱讀）。沒有一定的閱讀深度，你會對閱讀的內容反應慢而且覺得很難理解，以至於看了兩三次你都可能會揣摩不出其中的意思。
所以這里有兩個點，一是對單詞的反應，二是閱讀的廣深度。你可以針對這兩點展開後期工作。不過，還有兩個月多一些，尤其閱讀這種東西，不是一天兩天就可以磨出來的。所以，你要很努力才可以啊。

第一篇：
Augus Macleod已經五十歲，他傾其一生在蘇格蘭西北部山區當一名牧羊人。他從未講過收音機、電視，甚至沒有去過離他出生地40千米之外的地方。他所有的知識都來自於在村子賣羊和買食物的過程。然而，最近他開始從越來越多的登山者那裡獲得國際新聞。
在1992年的春天，一名西班牙學生在高山上碰到了Augus，為了練習他的英語，他和Augus攀談起來。他告訴Augus即將在巴塞羅那劇情的奧運會。受到這學生對西班牙和奧運會聲情並茂的描述的感染，Augus決定以個人名義參加這場盛會並在兩個月後抵達巴塞羅那。

希臘的帕太農神廟是一座有著悠久歷史的建築。它作為祭拜雅典娜女神的神廟修建於2500年前，幾千年來，它變為聖母瑪麗的教堂，然後清真寺，最終成為一片廢墟。整個建築已看不出原有的樣子，很多雕像經過數世紀的洗禮已不成形。到到18世紀，只有大約一半的雕刻作品還保存著先前的模樣。
