2. 英語四級聽力技巧
1 短對話(Short Dialogue)的答題技巧。
這部分試題一共有8 道試題，對話一般是有兩個不同的說話者（two speakers）進行問答或者交流，然後由第三個說話者針對對話內容進行提問，提問形式一般是特殊疑問句的形式，問題主要涉及到對話的主題、人物關系、時間、地點、情節等，英語學習者要注意聽懂雙方對話中話語的隱含意義。在大學英語四級考試聽力的考試過程中，英語學習者可以根據自己在聽的時候的理解以及聽之前的預測迅速地在題目的A，B，C，D 選項後面做一些自己明白的記號，比如在認為有可能成為答案的選項後面或者根本沒有可能成為答案的選項後面分別做不同的記號，這樣當聽到問題的時候就可以很確定地選擇答案。
2 長對話(Long Conversation)的答題技巧。
這部分試題一共有7 道試題，兩個長對話，和短對話一樣，長對話的答案一般也是從上面短對話的幾個方面去考慮得出答案。要注意的是，有時候同一個長對話里的不同問題，答案可能從不同的方面得出。做這部分試題的時候，要注意以下幾點：聽音前，盡可能地把3 或者4道試題的選項瀏覽一遍，根據選項猜測可能出現的問題及提問方式。聽音時，迅速抓住與選項及所猜測問題有關的關鍵詞，速記有關內容或者在選項後面做記號，在有可能成為答案的選項後面做記號，在絕對沒有可能成為答案的選項後面做記號，當然兩種記號肯定應該不一樣。聽清問題，修正猜測問題，做出正確選擇。另外在長對話中，由於問題不止一個，為了防止聽了後面，忘了前面，因此在聽的過程中，參照各題的選項，做一些簡要的筆記，是很有用的，特別是聽到數字、時間、年齡、地點等問題時，簡要的筆記尤其有用。
3 短文聽力(Passage Listening)的答題技巧。
這部分試題一共有10 道試題，有三個短文，每個短文之後可能會有3-4 個問題，短文聽力部分的試題除了上面提到的長對話的解題方案外，平時還應加強閱讀的訓練，同時在考試中運用閱讀的一些技巧。比如在聽的過程中注意判斷哪句話是主題句（topic sentence），在閱讀中，我們了解主題句的位置，因此在聽的時候就應該特別注意聽開頭句和結束句，從而確定主題句。
4 復合式聽寫（Compound Dictation）的答題技巧。
在大學英語四級考試中，復合式聽寫不僅測試聽音者聽的能力，也測試聽音者單詞的拼寫能力和語言知識的運用能力，同時還要求聽音者具有一定的速記能力，這對培養學生的語言實際運用能力是有好處的。
