VOA 慢速英语的语速较慢，每分钟大概九十个词，不到一内百字。如果你想要一容分钟左右的，能有什么内容呢？VOA比较适合用来学习美式英语，但是并不仅仅就是听力材料，也能传递很多信息，这么短时不可能的。
VOA 有很多栏目。IN THE NEWS一般是三分多钟。我比较喜欢听WORDS AND THEIR STORIES，每篇大概五分钟，讲的东西很有意思。你可以选你自己比较感兴趣的去听，不仅可以学英语，也可以有很多额外的收货。

我二外学的法语，练听力得看你是法语专业的还是只是学学了。要是初学新闻听起回来肯定难，答你得先积累词汇，多看看新闻背单词，像vingt minutes和figaro这种报纸的网站上文章有短的，要不然听不懂，新闻用语跟平常交际不太一样。开始先听简单的，比如课文对话，然后电影新闻。要是你是法语专业的就忍着听新闻吧，慢慢习惯。总之词汇关键，平常自己多读，熟悉联诵连音，要不猛一听单词都连一块听不懂。
