A. 如何提高英语四级作文水平

一、“功能段落”突破写作。
“To be or not to be: that is a question.”莎士比亚如是说。冲刺阶段，背模板还是不背？我的答案：背，但绝不是盲目的背。
整篇背诵模板不是最有效的方法，因为模板的写作思路是固定的，然而很多时候试题的命题思路可能与所背模板思路不同。因此，可能导致“所背非所考”，甚至导致文不对题，生搬硬套。
但是，无论英语四六级写作话题如何变化，一般都对应三个或两个汉语提纲。只要按提纲要求去写相应的内容段落，就做到了紧扣主题。历年写作提纲可以总结为六种功能段落：现象描述、危害分析（弊）、原因分析、建议措施、观点阐述（观点的本质为利弊：支持方观点等于分析“利”，反方观点等于分析“弊”）、意义阐述（利）。
下面，本人结合近年真题展示功能段落内容：
2011-06：Online Shopping
1．现在网上购物已成为一种时尚
2．网上购物有很多好处，但也有不少问题
3．我的建议
解析：本次英语四级对应四个段落分别是：现象、观点（利、弊）和建议。该类作文可以被称之为：观点对比型作文，对比的内容重点在利弊分析上。
2010-12：How Should Parents Help Children to Be Independent?
1.目前不少父母为孩子包办一切
2.为了让孩子独立,父母应该……
解析：该题目只有两个提纲：现象和建议，可以添加一个功能段落：原因。这样这篇作文就是“三段论”的形式：提出问题（负面现象描述）、分析问题（原因）、建议措施段。2010年6月CET也属于该种那类型。
2009-12：Creating a Green Campus
1.建设绿色校园很重要
2.绿色校园不仅指绿色的环境……
3.为了建设绿色校园，我们应该……
解析：该段对应提纲如下：意义阐述（即分析：利或好处）、现象描述（解释绿色校园环境之外的因素）、建议措施段。
综合以上分析，六种功能段落已经涵盖住了以上考试的所有提纲。因此，如果能够掌握住六种功能段落的写作实际就掌握了四六级考试写作考题的最本质特征。那样的话，无论题目如何变化，我们准备都是有的放矢的。反观，死背模板容易导致生搬硬套，甚至文不对题。
二、写作短期提分方略
在了解了英语四级考试在命题特点的基础上，考生在冲刺阶段最需要准备的是两个内容：思路和表达。思路解决怎么写的问题，表达解决写什么的问题。如果拿到一个作文题目，你知道应该按照什么思路去写，又知道应该写什么表达，这篇作文就已经成功了一半。
思路点拨：在本人所讲授的基础班、强化班、精品班等不同班型上都曾讲授到现象、原因、建议、利弊、观点分析时的逻辑：“一个中心，四个基本点”。具体内容：“以孩子（学生、事件）为中心，以家长（老师、相关人员）、家庭（学校、管理机构）、社会、法规（道德意识）为基本点”
试举例说明：以2010年12月真题为例，主题为子女教育话题。谈到子女，必然涉及到家长，孩子和家长组成家庭，千千万万的家庭组成社会，是什么在维护着社会稳定？法规和道德意识。这样我们就找到了可以入手去分析的五个方面：孩子、家长、家庭、社会、法规道德意识。如何使用这五个方面？如分析家长溺爱孩子原因时至少可以从家长意识、家庭结构变化、社会背景角度去分析。
同理，2010年6月话题为学生英语学习，可从学生自身、教师教学、学校教学政策角度去分析。那么，如果主题不是孩子也不是学生，怎么分析？2011年6月主题为网络购物，分析时就以该事件为中心，可以想到相关人或物（买方：customers/ clients /shoppers;卖方：online shops/ stores;中间方：支付宝、淘宝等），其管理机构（政府）、社会背景，相关法规是否健全等。
“一个中心，四个基本点”的分析逻辑形成一种立体化网状结构，考生运用该思维模式，只要能想到其中两到三点，思路问题即可迎刃而解。建议所有有缘相识与北京新东方课堂、四级写作模板班、四级翻译突破班的童鞋们首先将该思路背诵下来，以备将来可以在考场上灵活应用。
表达积累：表达分为四个层次：词句段篇。
其中篇章层面只要按照提纲要求去组织文章即可，因此篇章方面不足为虑。段落方面按照“功能段落”的六种形式去识别，也小菜一碟。
词和句是表达的基本元素，也是语言质量的根本体现。在新东方教书的这四年中和三次参加四六级考试阅卷的经历中，看过无数学生的作文，深感学生词句方面能力的薄弱。同时结合过往教学中的成功案例，提出冲刺阶段表达积累的高效途径。
1. 背写：思路+表达。
很多同学考前也在背，背的滚瓜烂熟，脱口而出，觉得自己水平很牛！上了考场也顺利将文章写了出来，却得了一个很低的分数，为什么？因为单词都拼错了。冲刺阶段，请牢记：口头背诵的再好不等于能够写对。背写是提高写作和翻译唯一，也是最有效的方法。
那么背写什么内容哪？答案是思路和表达。思路上文中已有论述，遣词和造句的表达方面应该紧密结合功能段落来背诵有效句式和用词。考生不必刻意追求适用难词，但可以将常见词汇稍作替换：如，
exceedingly, extremely, intensely替换very；an army of/a great many/a host of替换a lot of；advancement替换development; positive, favorable, promising(有希望的), perfect, pleasurable, excellent, outstanding, superior替换good; give rise to, lead to, result in, trigger替换cause; harbor the idea that, take the attitude that, hold the view that,替think; beneficial, rewarding替换helpful; bear in mind that替换remember; enjoy, possess替换have; shopper, client, consumer, purchaser,替换customer
表达精彩体现在三个方面：遣词、造句、连贯。大家可以结合以下例文感受这三个方面：（声明：试题命制、范文均为笔者原创，谢绝转载！）

尾段我的看法(或建议)：As college students, we should bear in mind this virtue. However, it is essential that regulations should be worked out to support this virtue. In addition, it is suggested that we should offer aid to strangers in a safe way, such as dialing 12o or110 for help. 三、冲刺复习安排建议。
总体原则：先背再写、阶段总结、适当模拟。
先背再写：基础较差同学一定要先背一些东西，然后模仿该作文的思路和表达去写。可以背诵的内容有：本人上课时讲义上要求大家背诵的功能句式和教材相关范文。背写的目的是积累语言表达实力，同时练习书写的公正和优美。建议书写较差的考生买本英语字帖练一下书写，也许你会有意外的惊喜。
阶段总结：每过一周就要问自己几个问题：所背诵的表达可以用来写什么类型的文章？该类文章的相关词汇或表达有什么？关键词如何避免重复？如果解决不了，请参照讲义上给大家总结的各类功能段落的功能句式和表达。请记住：没有复习，没有巩固。
适当模拟：在熟练掌握背写了六种功能段落的思路和表达之后，可以结合适当题目在写作中运用所讲所背所总结提分词汇、句式。建议大家能够灵活运用，做到一例多用。如我在多个班上讲过的关于英语学习的话题作文，可以写13次四级考试的作文。
题目：On English Learning
提纲：1.英语学习很重要；2.英语者所面临的困难；3.如何学好英语
In contemporary world, English learning has gained great popularity and it is of great significance. (主题句) Firstly, based on a survey, a majority of tourists acknowledge that they prefer to speak English when traveling around the world. However, English learners may have a variety of difficulties or troubles in their learning.(主题句) For example, it can be noticed that a large number of students have difficulty memorizing words. C. 英语四级作文要求写多少字

英语四级作文要求达到120字。

大学英语四六级作文给分是以要点和语言准确度而定，所以不要太过追求文采，适当的文采会给作文加分，但是若遇到不会表达的情况时，还是以写简单句为宜，不会加分，但最起码不会因句子错误而被扣分。以下几点可以帮大家化难为易，化繁为简。

1、迂回而行

当某一个词义不会用英语表达时，可以想一个与该词义相似的几种词义，扩展思路，然后找出一个与其词义相近的代替。这样可有异曲同工之妙。

2、小词大用

汉语中有些语意看来很复杂很文雅，但在英语中可用一些常用词表达。下面这些词可能在你的书面表达中很有用：take, have, get, make, come, go, do, see, show, happy, nice, kind, help 等。虽是小词，但用途很广泛。

3、借花献佛

有时书面表达中需要的单词或词组或许在试卷中的其他地方出现。因为刚刚做过题，记忆犹新，那么就可信手拈来，为我所用。

1、中心句放开端

尽量把每一段的中心句放在段落的开端，一是能够让阅卷老师一眼看出文章表达的主旨意思;二是使文章的条理层次更加清晰，整体结构更加合理。

2、关键词要具体

就是说每一段的内容都是要围绕关键词去深入写的，一定要精确仔细地突出关键词，这样才能清楚地表达文章主旨、写好段落中心句。

3、设问扩充内容

有一种常用的行文方法是设问-解答的方法，利用问题引出自己需要的话题再加以解答表现自己的观点，同时紧紧围绕主题。

D. 英语四级的作文该如何写,如何练

给点小建议，希望对你有用：

如果你觉得自己很难下手去写一篇文章的时候，不用着急，你可以先看和分析历年的真题，从中去了解它们的特点以及难易程度。

在这个基础上，你可以去找些模板来模仿和利用，在我看来背诵范文和真题作文是大有裨益的。

然后我有些小建议，可以让你的文章加点彩的。

一、写四六级作文，有两个原则（我以老师讲的）：

1.长短句原则—— 一般议论文居多，所以可以采用三段式或四段式文章，第一段是一长一短，先长后短，让阅卷的老师觉得你有功底。主体段落宜采取一短一长，目的在于体现中心句，让文章变得有层次感，和便于让阅卷老师把握你的论点。末尾段没有特别的要求，最好是能把自己的观点深入和强化。

2.主题句原则—— 我觉得这个和上面的原则似乎重合了，我都不知道该怎么进一步解释了。总之就是每个段落都要有主题句的。

二、一些技巧：

1.熟记一些开篇的句子，比较有水平的，比如模板里的，还有就是谚语和名句啊什么的，用于开头结尾的感叹。

2.善于总结同义词，在一篇文章里你往往会用到同一个意思的单词，比如“认为”、“下降”、“增长”、“在我看来”等等这类的词，你千万不要一个“think”……到底，要灵活的用其他的词和词组替换。

3.一定要在文章中有恰当的连贯词和连贯的句子。英文和中文不同，他们讲究“形合”，我们中文讲究“意合”，所以要善于用连接词，该顺接的时候用表顺接的词，该转折的转折，该递进的递进。还有什么插入语。

4.变换句型。比如把被动句式替换主动句式，这些在四六级文章里都会是亮点。

这些都是你平时练习和学习的时候可以注重总结和运用的东西，所以要努力哦！我暂时只想到这些，祝你顺利PASS！

同时，也还可以通过网校学习，名师授课，高清课程，更好的学习巩固备考英语四级考试。
1. 词汇：继续加强，不要松懈

攻克四级考试的单词关需要的不是临时突击，而是日积月累。考生要把记单词变成一项日常的工作，坚持每天都温习前一天背过的单词，并记忆新单词，这样才能
将词汇烂熟于心。当然，在这个阶段，考生也不必再记单词上花费大量的时间，只需每天抽出10～15分钟的时间即可，最主要的是坚持每天都温习，不要在考前
松懈。
2. 语法：依然重要，参考真题
考生在做四级真题时，
要有意识地思考每道题目的考点，这其中就包括语法考点。在考前这段有限的时间内，考生没有必要全面地复习语法知识，建议大家将语法复习的重点放在四级考试

题型突击
关于题型，这里主要针对听力、阅读和写作这三大题型提出一些备考建议，希望能够帮助考生在接下来的备考中做到有的放矢。
1. 听力：培养习惯，精听真题
通常来说，相对于其他几个部分，听力更容易通过短期冲刺来提高分数，所以应成为考
生冲刺阶段关注的重点。考生在这一阶段应保证每天至少听三十分钟左右的听力真题，可以以五天为一个阶段，争取在考前完整地听完五六套听力真题，具体的方法如下：
第一天：完整地听一套四级听力真题。在听的过程中，要集中精力，但不要因计较听懂多少而影响情绪，尤其要注意听的过程不能间断，不要因遇到听不懂的单词、词汇或句子而中途中断音频。
第二天：把第一天听过的音频再重复听一遍。同第一天一样，考生不要急于把全文都听懂。在听完这一遍之后，再把原文拿出来大声地朗读一遍。
第三天：跟读音频。还是同样的音频，在这一遍听的时候，考生每放一句音频要停顿一下，以便自己跟着重复一句。按此方法将全部内容跟读一遍。
第四天：将音频再从头到尾不间断地听一遍。这时考生应该可以感觉到基本能听懂百分之九十以上的内容了。
第五天：再次跟读，确认无误。将同样的音频每放一句就停顿一下，然后跟着重述，重述之后对照原文，针对出错的地方再听音频，再跟读，直到完全重述正确为止。通过这样的精听训练，考生不但能够熟悉英语的语感和发音特点，还能训练自己对英语的反应速度，提高做题效率。
2. 阅读：改掉旧习，注意方法
相信考生在近半年的备考中已经增加了不少的阅读量，在最后的冲刺阶段，笔者建议考
生要着重训练阅读速度。有些考生在阅读中养成了“指读”或“笔读”的习惯，结果严重影响了阅读的速度。针对此，考生一定要着重通过训练改变这一习惯。建议大家在备考阅读时注意以下几个方面：
(1)
考生在看文章时，不要每次只看一个词，而是要加宽自己阅读时的视幅，每次看4～6个词，不要用手指或笔指着单词挨个读，而应用眼睛扫视。如果考生在最开始感觉不习惯或吃力，可以先训练自己每次看两三个词，然后通过多次练习来逐渐达到要求。

(2)
重点阅读和次要阅读相结合。每一篇文章都有核心内容和次要内容，考生要学会分辨这些内容，并在阅读中做到有主有次。通常情况下，应该重点阅读的内容包
括：①小标题，对于一些设置小标题的阅读文章来说(尤其是快速阅读)，小标题具有重要的提示功能;②每段的首尾句，首尾句通常包含体现这段主旨的重要线
索，应该仔细阅读;③表示逻辑关系的词，这些词汇不仅仅起到衔接句子的作用，同时也能提示考生哪些句子是有效的信息。
(3)
在阅读中遇到不懂的词(组)或句子等，不要在其身上逗留太多的时间，应尽量保持阅读的连贯性。如果这部分内容涉及出题点，考生可在看完具体的题目后回原文定位时，再仔细分析和判断其所表示的含义。
3. 写作：研究范文，适当练习

写作素材的积累是建立在大量的阅读基础上的。所以，考生的写作备考过程要先从阅读优秀的作文范文开始。在阅读时，考生应认真分析范文的遣词造句好在哪
里，应如何在自己的写作中适当运用这些词句，将之变成自己的“写作模板”。在学习表达的同时，考生还要学习范文的结构，了解不同类型文章的不同论述方式。
考生不仅要学习范文中的优秀表达和结构安排，还要利用最后这一个月的时间多写多练，至少要保证每周写两篇作文，写作的题目就是近两年四级写作真题的题目。
虽然这些题目已经考过，但在文体和结构上有很大的参考意义。每写完一篇作文后，考生要对照优秀范文找出自己的不足之处，取长补短。
时间分配

很多考生都有在考前挑灯夜战的习惯，因为单词还没有背熟，语法还没有掌握，真题还没有做完……其实，这是一个非常不好的习惯。人确实有很强的短时记忆能
力，但对于英语考试来说，人的这种能力只能发挥极有限的作用。对于一些诸如政治、历史的中文类考试，考生也许可以通过考前熬夜提高考试成绩。但英语不同，
它是另外一套语言体系，考生在考英语时还需要一个“编码转换”的过程，所以说并不是通过短时的突击记忆就能够提高分数的。小编建议考生在考前一周一定要调
整好自己的生物钟，按时休息，晚上不要熬夜，以保证白天精力旺盛。因为四级考试是从9:00～11:30，如果考生因为考试之前睡眠不足而到考场上感觉昏
昏欲睡，那之前的努力就会大打折扣。
考前模拟
在考前一周，小编建议考生给自己安
排几场模拟考试，要严格依照四级考试的时间(9:00～11:25)和流程来做。建议考生用近两年的四级真题来模考，不推荐使用四级模拟试卷。进行考前模

Nowadays, going abroad for studies is enjoying a striking popularity among adolescents. Importance should be attached to studying abroad.

There are a great many advantages of studying overseas. First and foremost, living and studying abroad offers students a different perspective of the world. On a university campus, international students are likely to encounter their counterparts from various countries and areas and are exposed to diverse ideas and values. What is more, overseas experience is the best opportunity for the real-life use of foreign languages. There is no better opportunity to improve second-language skills than living in the country in which it is spoken.

Generally peaking, it is my view that although going abroad is expensive and perhaps painful, the payoff is worthwhile. In the first place, in addition to knowledge, overseas students can gain precious experiences that those who stay at home will never have. Furthermore, overseas experience, frustrating and painful as it may be, is concive to the growth of adolescents.

In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.

To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance, a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively.

In fact, few of us admit that examinations can contribute anything really important to the students’ academic development. If that is the case, why cannot we make a change and devise something more efficient and reliable than examinations?

To a Chinese, the task of learning English well is not easy. So I, like many other English learners, have met with difficulties in learning English ring the past seven years. But I managed to overcome them and made much progress.

The spelling and meaning of words can be said to be the first difficulty I met as a beginner. But I found our my own way to deal with them. As to spelling, I never copied a new work again and again to remember it, but tried to find its relevance to the sound. In fact, as long as I can read the word out, I can write it out.
