翻译考察的重点一般是一些习惯用语的翻译，背诵历年真题是有用的，虽然可能不是原题重现，但是至少可以看到答题的思路和技巧。

这种交流听起来既滑稽又常见(注意倒装)，这位父亲打算劝他的儿子在承担重大的责任之前去做一些小事。毫无疑问，做小事是迈向成功的第一步，会为一件大事的完成奠定基础(lay root for)。通过做小事，我们能够积累经验，掌握技巧并通过锻炼使自己更有耐心。换句话说，在完成小事的过程中(in the course of)，我们可以为进一步的挑战做充分的准备。相反，那些直接载办大事的人将不断的被失望、沮丧、甚至失败所困扰(be constantly haunted by)。当“天将降大任”时(意译，可不采用)，他们很难抓住这种机会，因为他们缺乏从完成小事情所获得的经验和信心。上面出现的画面，正是一个很好的例子(a case in point)，如果这个小男孩连如何倒垃圾桶都不知道，他怎么可能成功地销毁核武器呢？

从我个人的角度来看，无论在何种情况下(under no circumstance，是不是？)我们都不应低估做小事的力量。正相反，做小事是我们经验、技能的来源，成功的先决条件（这句的谓语看不到···）。“伟大的成就只属于那些能够完美地去做小事的人。”亚里士多德曾经说过。

P.S.注意转换成汉语后的语序。
“dispose of”有“处理, 处置, 安排, 转让, 卖掉, 除掉, 丢掉, 销毁”的意思，这里到底是哪一个意思，我不确定···

C. 英语四级翻译给分怎么给的

本题满分为15分，成绩分为六个档次：13-15分、10-12分、7-9分、4-6分、1-3分和0分。各档次的评版分标准权见下表：
13-15分：译文准确表达了原文的意思。用词贴切，行文流畅，基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小错。
10-12分：译文基本上表达了原文的意思。文字通顺、连贯，无重大语言错误。
7-9分：译文勉强表达了原文的意思。用词欠准确，语言错误相当多，其中有些是严重语言错误。
4-6分：译文仅表达了一小部分原文的意思。用词不准确，有相当多的严重语言错误。
1-3分：译文支离破碎。除个别词语或句子，绝大部分文字没有表达原文意思。

2、学会变通翻译：只要在规定时间内尽自己最大的努力把整篇文章的内容基本都翻译出来，最终一定能得到一个不错的分数。

3、加强词汇：四级翻译是将英语大纲中的4000+单词按照重要程度进行划分，有必考词、基础词、还有偶考词和超纲词。其中每个必考词汇下面都有好几个短语搭配，都是考试中常考的，也是对词汇的拓展和延伸，备考时间不够的话，可以酌情先记忆必考词部分。

4、注意时态语法：根据一些调查，发现同学们考试翻译时，容易一看到中文就马上翻译成英语，连前面的句子信息都省略不看，在此，我非常不赞同这个做法，前面的句子或短语包含的不只是信息也有时态之类的，如果直接上手写，那么也就是等于直接放弃这最好拿的得分点。

1、考试必备物品：准考证、身份证、学生证、2B铅笔、橡皮、圆珠笔或钢笔、手表、小刀、直尺（备用）等。为了避免遗漏，可以先列一个物品清单。
