「純兒，搬兩張凳子到陽台，我給你掏耳朵。」每聽到這句話，我都會興高采烈地搬上凳子到陽台坐下，等老媽過來把頭埋在她那紅色過膝的羽絨服中，靜靜地享受著午後的陽光，以及這極舒服的時刻。當然這寧靜也會被老媽喃喃自語式的嘮叨所打斷，比如「啊呀，你別動，這兒有個老大老大的」，或是「你這丫頭，幾天沒有掏耳朵了，怎麼全要我幫你掏，真是」……聽到這些嘮叨，真的，你一定不覺得煩，因為這滿屋的陽光，這酥癢之間，以及老媽輕柔的動作所顯示的她的濃濃的愛意，很早之前就把你的心全部融化，我的大腦之中一片空白，有的只是愛與溫暖。三毛說，父母在當守候天使時，兒女是不懂得他們的心的。我以為這句話不對，因為此時此刻，我真真切切地感受到媽媽濃濃的愛意已印在我心中的每一個角落，就像這陽光，無微不至地照射著我、溫暖著我。
但是，掏耳朵畢竟是短暫的瞬間。每當結束時，我還是會賴在老媽的雙膝上裝睡，因為我多想多享受一下這混合了陽光與愛的溫暖。我知道，我可愛的老媽一定不會將我趕走，一定會允許我再多享受這可以溫暖全世界的愛的陽光！

半夢半醒間，彷彿感到眼前有個模糊而又熟悉的身影，我微微抬起頭，又望見了那並不陌生的眼神。我趕忙閉上眼睛……
那是去年一個晚上，和昨天一樣：半夜睜開惺忪的眼睛，看見母親那慈愛的目光，我眨了眨眼睛，冷不丁冒出一句話：「媽，你老盯著我干嗎？」媽媽好象被我的問題嚇了一跳，趕忙收回目光說：「沒什麼，看你被子蓋好了沒？乖乖睡吧，我出去了。」說完，她轉身走出房間，回頭又投來一縷目光，輕輕地帶上了門。
當時，天真的我不知媽媽為什麼總是無緣無故地盯著自己。起初，我還以為媽媽睡不著隨便看看，可是一節語文課，老師動情地說道：「生活中有許多細節是你不易察覺的，那是父母對你的愛，留心觀察吧，你會感動一生的……」
那一刻，我意識道我犯了一個錯誤。原來，我在夢中練「功夫」將被子踢開，害得媽媽天天夜裡爬起來為我蓋被子，而那目光是一種幸福，看看孩子香甜的模樣，健康的面容的一種幸福……
往事一一浮現：清晨起床時「昨晚睡得好嗎？」一句帶著惺忪的目光；出門上學時「注意安全」一句帶著關切的目光；緊張備考時「輕松上陣」一句帶著鼓勵的目光……
我終於明白在媽媽鼓勵的目光中，包含著多麼深多麼濃的愛！象一首詩，悠遠純凈：似一幅畫，清新自然；像一曲歌，悅耳悠揚。
昨天晚上，當發覺媽媽又在注視自己的時候，我沒有讓自己「醒來」，而是沐浴在母親慈愛目光下，遨遊在母親的愛的海洋里。

The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years. Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird. Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year'
