得先看是的書屬於那種類型
一般情況分為三大類：
第一種是傳統的出書方式，找幾家圖書公司和出版社，合作出書，雙方贏利，其合作方式有：一種是買斷出版權、發行權，另一種是作者從每本書里抽取百分之幾的利。即每買一本給作者多少等。這一種是出版社發行出版。
第二種是個人出書發行：首先排版、設計，然後找出版社申請書號（買書號），一本單本書號，在1.5萬元，審稿費在幾千元。當然要根據字數而定，這只是起價，如果超過百萬字的話，最少也得3萬左右。（審定時要復合出版社出的要求）等申請下來後，把整理好的稿件教給出版社，再由出版社的編輯進行審稿，一般情況都是三校一合紅。他們要改三邊，將文字的錯誤率控制在萬分之三以內。通過後，出版社最後給您版權頁的CIP數據以及委印單合同，然後，你再拿著委印單給印刷廠，印刷廠根據你的委印單進行印刷。當然還有叢書號，一般情況3萬左右，可以出10-15本類同的書。（不過這是一種打擦邊球的書號，原則上沒有叢書號。）
第三種是個人收藏類：只單單印刷幾十本，送給朋友，或是自己收藏的。那就用不著書號。只需要付成本費和上機費，也就是短版印刷。當然，這樣下來每本的成本大概在50元左右。（同樣包括封面設計、正文排版、正文定稿等。）
