在教學中，常有學生對學習英語不感興趣，而導致教學效果欠佳，其中原因之一是教師忽略了情感效應在課堂教學中的重要作用。在課堂教學中，教師要做到心理上與學生接近，情感上要與學生產生共鳴，千方百計設法在師生間架起一座感情的橋梁，才能激發學生的學習興趣。兩千多年前孔子曾經說過：知之者，不如好之者，好之者不如樂之者。師生關系融洽時學生就能"親其師，信其道"，樂學之。當然要想讓學生"樂學"，教師先要"樂教"。積極的情感交流，能促使課堂氣氛和諧，激發學生的學習興趣，調動其主動性與積極性。所以，教師在上課時，不僅要善於調動自己的情感因素，保持飽滿的熱情，更要以情感染學生，激發學生的情感，使師生感情融洽，氣氛和諧，協調一致，以達到加速雙邊活動的進程。教師愛學生越深，學生也敬老師越深。老師對好學生和差學生都要有良好的態度，不能對差生總是看不順眼，應該有意識的挖掘他們的"閃光點"，並加以肯定和鼓勵。要常說：OK！Good！等使他們享受成功的歡愉，從而保持濃厚的興趣。如果老師能厚愛後進生，在他們心中建立可親可敬的形象，他們就會因親其師而信其道，進而表現出異常積極的學習激情。這樣，就會在潛移默化中使學生對教師產生好感和信賴，兩者交融情感，互為作用，會使學生學習成績不斷提高。

寬容學生的過失，促進教與學的和諧
對學生的過錯能寬容原諒是一種美德,也是一個教師必須具備的心理品質。教師要善於以自己的寬容,走進學生的內心,成為學生心目中可親可近可以推心置腹的人,從而順利達到教育學生的目的。寬容是一種溫柔的力量,它可以穿透人的心靈。有一次,上課的鈴聲已經響過,等我走進教室,有的學生還在說話,有的還在忙著整理課桌上的書本,黑板上是滿滿的數學題目。我很想發火,可是理智告訴我必須冷靜。我控制好自己的情緒,輕輕的拿起黑板擦擦掉了黑板。
擦完後,我很坦然的笑對學生說:"I have cleaned the blackboard; have you gotten ready for the class?"這時,學生們個個都坐的筆直,響亮的回答道:"Yes, we are ready."接下來的課堂氣氛活躍,學生思維敏捷,發言踴躍，達到了意想不到的課堂教學效果。

用真誠拉近距離，增加師生信任
在英語課堂教學中，教師傳遞真情的方式主要有兩種，一種是有聲的表達，一種是無聲的交流。有聲的表達主要是教師自己對教材的理解，用自己優美正確的語音語調，歡快或是悲傷的情感來闡述教學內容，讓學生感受其間的內涵。無聲的交流則是用肢體語言，一個手勢，一個表情，一個眼神來傳情達意。我覺得最重要的是要用眼神來面對全體學生。教師講授知識時，要用眼睛環視全體，並讓它在某個學生臉上停留，讓它與學生的眼神做一下溝通，探尋一下學生是否已經理解。當學生做了錯事的時候，教師可以用指責的眼神去看他，就會起到阻止，批評的作用；當學生因為膽怯慌張而回答不暢甚者語無倫次的時候，教師用熱切期待的眼神去看他，就會使他氣定神閑，鎮定自如。課堂上這短短的一瞥確實能達到"此時無聲勝有聲"的效果。師生在彼此的眼神交流中加深了感情，增加了信任。

運用多媒體創設情境， 激發學生興趣
當學生對學習產生興趣和渴望，他才願意學。Warm-up是英語課堂常用的環節，在英語教學前針對故事中的重點和難點進行必要的滲透，對教學的深入開展可以起到鋪墊的作用。在這一環節有效地運用多媒體，可以調動學生的學習積極性，激發學習興趣。例如在《How are you》一文中，有How are you ？ Fine,thank you ! I』m not bad ! 』m not so good!等新句子。在教授這些新句子之前，我利用多媒體課件有意識的滲透了這些內容。讓學生觀看我自己錄制的DV,我通過向客人打招呼後，要問候別人，英語中問候別人人要用How are you ？並要求學生試著用這個句子和認識的人打招呼，學生很自然地了解並運用了這個句子。這樣在學習新內容之前，我先創設情境，在貼近學生生活的活動交際中，讓學生體驗了本課內容，為進一步學習做了鋪墊，效果非常好。

精心設計課堂活動，輕松學習英語
結合教材創設情景，尋找學生興趣點 現實生活中的語言環境是學好語言的關鍵所在。因此，英語教學必須從學生的生活出發。小學生所學的英語材料一般比較簡短，形式單一。這要求我們在備課時盡可能把這些材料放入各種真實的情景中，使得學生一節英語課上學到的不止是單詞和少量的對話，而是習得更多的語言知識，獲得英語交際的能力。 例如教二年級有關 "Animals"這一單元時，可以把教室布置成動物園，到處是有趣的動物玩具。而且每個學生也戴上了自己喜愛的動物頭飾。一上課，同學們便感到不是在上課，而是到了一個熱鬧的動物園。整個教學過程中學生把被動學習變為主動學習，而且充滿了樂趣，真是"課始時分興已濃，課行時分興正濃，課終時分興猶濃"。
