1、 英語學習交流會
進入大學後，大家學習英語靠的不再是老師的督促和管教，而是自己的自學能力和一套自創的學習方法，但很多同學學習英語的求知感淡化，自學方法不夠強，針對這一問題我們「英語沙龍」決定適時開展英語學習交流會。在交流會中由各個同學談談自己學習英語的方法，包括成功經驗、失敗教訓以及現階段自己學習英語面臨的困難。希望在交流中吸取他人學習英語的成功之處，不斷的完善自己的學習方法。
2、 舉辦各類英語游戲
開展多種英語游戲，寓教於樂，可以激發大家學習英語的興趣，也可以讓自己的英語水平在娛樂中得到提高。例如，我們可以開展以下的此類英語游戲：
（1）瞬時記憶大比拼（游戲）
游戲規則：推薦1人參加此活動，一輪游戲可分四組同時進行。參與者站定後背著觀眾，此時四個工作人員各舉一張卡片上場。卡片上寫有一個句子，工作人員背向觀眾站定。由主持人下令讓參與者同時向後轉，此時開始計時，限時5秒鍾。在這5秒鍾內參與者可以看卡片上的句子並迅速的記下來。5秒鍾後，工作人員將卡片給觀眾快速看幾遍，然後將卡片扣在地面上。參與者有1分鍾的時間將迅速記下來的句子寫在參與者面前擺放著的黑板上。時間一到，工作人員將卡片舉起面向觀眾，由評委審查參與者寫的句子與題目是否一致。全對者可得滿分，滿分為100分。若參與者寫的句子中有單詞錯誤，錯一個單詞扣10分。
（2）單詞接龍（游戲）
活動安排：一輪游戲可由4個小組同時進行。由各班組織推選5個人組成一組參加此游戲。場上放著各寫有一個單詞的4塊黑板。計時開始後，各同學輪流（依次）上去寫單詞，同學們所寫的單詞要以黑板上所給單詞的最後一個字母為首字母。按此方法依次接下去，限時3分鍾，時間到最後接單詞最多的小組為優勝組。每接對一個單詞加10分，所接單詞不得重復，重復的單詞不計分。
3、出版英語刊物
此刊物刊登內容主要是學生的優秀英文作品、名家作品賞析以及教師對英語作文的修改原文等。通過這種形式鼓勵大家提高英語寫作興趣和寫作水平。爭取刊物發行每個月至少一次。
