2、在表達時，可以對具體的數據進行一些處理，用另外一種表達方式來代替，避免一篇小短文中出現過多的數據或者相同的句型結構，如：一次有關閱讀興趣調查結果是：50%的學生喜歡新聞；25%的學生喜歡故事；14%的學生喜歡幽默；11%的學生喜歡推理小說。(Half of the students love news. A quarter of them are fond of stories. 14% enjoy humor. The rest prefer to read mystery books.)
3、「…的數目或數量」的表達方式有兩種：可數名次用the number of …；不可數名次用the amount of …。數量的多和少不能說成many和few，而用large和small.

4、用以描述數據上升、下降或保持不變的表達方式有：

In the past five years, there have been remarkable changes in people』s diet. According to the figures given in the table, grain, which used to be the main food for most of the Chinese people, has now become less important.
