It is a controversial issue that whether people should be forced to retire at a certain age. And different people hold different opinions. For me, I think it depends on the nation. In foreign countries like US, people will not be forced to retire and they can choose what age they would like to retire. It is a common phenomenon that a foreign teacher retired at the age 90ies. However, in our country, retirement for a certain age is necessary. Not because we have the largest population, but because the job opportunities are really competitive among the job hunters in our country. Retiring for a certain age means every year there must be some certain job opportunities for the youth to get. And this is just like a circle. The old retire and the young replace them.

my hobby
i like to read books when i am free. i like to read all kinds of books including history books,detective story books,literature books or different magazines.
i think reading is a good habit as well as a nice hobby to keep. through reading, i understand a lot more things which i can't learn in class. reading opens my mind and heart, reading gives me wisdom and teach me a lot of valuable lessons too.

英語寫作是一個復雜的思維過程，對認知能力、思維能力、語言能力、組織能力和自我監控能力都有
相當高的要求，同時，也是學習英語的一種必要實踐，是進行交流的重要手段。英語寫作能幫助提高使用
英語的准確性；能擴大使用語言的范圍，促進語言靈活使用；能培養邏輯思維及分析問題的能力。尤其對
英語學習過程中的閱讀、聽力、口語有促進作用，英語寫作也因此而受到人們越來越多的重視。劉潤清就
曾說「只有寫作水平才能真正地反映一個人的語言修養」。當前大學英語四六級網考改革對大學生的英語
寫作水平也提出了越來越高的要求，但是，當前學生過多地把精力放在聽力和閱讀訓練上，忽略了寫作能
力的培養，因受母語負遷移的影響在寫作中出現了很多「中式英語」現象，寫作仍是比較薄弱的一項。
關於母語對二語寫作的影響，許多專家學者對此進行了研究，母語負遷移在外語學習和二語習得中是客觀
存在的（Ellis, 1985）。在教育心理學理論中,遷移是指將學會了的行為從一種情境轉移至另一種情境。母語遷移指的是母語的特徵被轉移到第二語言學習過程的現象。對於語言遷移的研究始於20世紀50年代。
Lad在其代表作Linguistics Across Cultures跨文化的語言學）中指出:學習者往往把其母語語言及其文化中的形式和意義遷移到所學的外語語言及其文化當中,這種遷移既體現在學習者的口語表達以及在與該外語文化有關的行動中,也體現在理解領會該外語語言及其文化的過程中。」Lado認為,母語中的原有習慣有時會促進二語的學習(正遷移),有時會阻礙二語的學習(負遷移)。如果母語的某種特徵同目的語類似或完全一致時，在學習中就會（positive transfer

English is becoming more and more important under the trend of globalization, especially for us who often need to read a number of academic thesis in English and will work in the filed of IT finally.
However, my English is not as good as I wish it were actually. I have learned English for over ten years, but focus the most time and energy on preparing for English exam, so that I didn』 grasp how to use English really.
In my opinion, there are several reasons as following. Firstly, I can』t stick to learning English by myself. To tell the truth, I spent little time learning English unless there is an English examination. Secondly, I have no opportunity to talk with other people in English, and it』s seemed that there is no use of English in my life except passing the examination before I become a postgraate.
