題目開頭空2～4個格。每段開頭空一格。

日語作文不像寫英語或者漢語作文一樣，日語作文有日語作文的格式。

日語作文橫寫：

1） 句號與逗號佔一格，寫在格內的左下方。橫寫時逗號多用「，」號，但也有人用「、」號。

2） 小寫的「つ、や、ゆ、よ」等佔一格，寫在格內的左下方。

3） 橫寫時數字用阿拉伯數字，一個格寫兩個數字。

日語作文豎寫：

1） 標題寫在第一行，前面空三個或四個格。較長的文章，也有標題的右側空一行的寫法。

2） 作者名寫在標題的下一行，姓與名一間空一格。名字寫在一行的下方，通常最後一字的後邊空一格。

3） 正文寫在作者名的下一行或空一行。

4） 逗號或句號佔一格，寫在格子的右上方。

5） 小寫的「つ、や、ゆ、よ」等佔一格，寫在格內的右上方。

6） 段落的開頭要空一格。

7） 句子的最好一字寫到一行的最後一格時，句號點在格外。逗號遇此情形時亦然。

11）寫好的字抹掉時，劃二條線。

12）括弧在一格。

While there is an official locality named Akihabara nearby, part of Taitō-ku, the area known to most people as Akihabara (including the railway station of the same name) is actually Soto-Kanda, a part of Chiyoda-ku.

Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chōme. First-hand parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores.
