記敘文是以寫人、敘事為主要內容的一種文體,也是英語作文中最普遍、最基本的文體。它一般包括兩種:事實記敘文和想像記敘文。事實記敘文是寫真實事情,常用一般過去時;想像記敘文是寫虛擬的故事,常用一般現在時。它們的特點都是通過對人物、事件和景物的描寫,表現文章的主題和作者的思想感情。

2 .寫作時觀點的掌握非常重要。記敘文常用第一人稱或第三人稱兩種人稱記述。用第一人稱的角度記敘,使人感到親切,讀者很容易產生身臨其境之感,相信真有其事。這種形式常用在寫自傳、本人的經歷或記敘耳聞目睹的事件;用第三人稱的角度記敘,使人感到客觀。這種形式常用在對重大事件的客觀報導,以及記敘他人的經歷或事跡。
3 .常見的敘述方式有:①順敘。按事情發展的順序或時間順序進行敘述。②倒敘。把事情的結局或某個突出的片段提到前面敘述,然後再按照事情的順序敘述下去。③插敘。在敘述過程中,由於某種需要,暫時把敘述的線索中斷一下,插入有關的另一敘述。④夾敘夾議。一方面敘述事情,一方面對這件事情加以分析或評論。

寫說明文要注意以下幾點:

2 .層次要分明。說明事物要注意條理,否則就不可能說清復雜的事物。例如說明事物的結構,就要按照構造的順序來說明,或從上到下,或從前到後,或由外到里,或由主到次。又如說明四季的變化,就要按照時間的順序( spring , summer , autumn , winter )來寫。
3 .解析要清楚。對各種知識所作的解釋,對某種事物所作的說明,都要清楚明白。
4 .表現手法要多樣。常見的說明文方法有:①下定義。②舉例子。③運用比喻、比擬的方法。④做比較。⑤引用數字。⑥分類別。⑦列圖表。
5 .用詞要力求准確。引用的數據要絕對可靠,文字要簡明扼要,一目瞭然。這是寫說明文在語言文字上的要求:

書信(Letter)一般可分為事務信件或公函(Business Letter or Offical Correspondence)以及私人信件
(Private Letter)兩大類。一般包括以下幾個要點:

There are many different ways to choose books for your book club/reading group, and there is no reason to stick with the same formula all the time. Here are a few suggestions:
Choose a theme - e.g. a particular culture, country, author, time period, genre or subject. Or avoid getting stuck in a theme by deliberately choosing books that are different from each other! BookBrowse's reading guides are sorted by title, author and a wide range of themes.

If you find yourself disappointed that the group don't want to read a book that you think looks excellent, keep in mind that there is absolutely nothing stopping you reading it yourself - and if it proves to be as good as you think, you can always recommend it to the group at a later time!
Look for recommendations at your library or bookstore. Most libraries have lists of recommended titles and 'librarian picks', and many libaries will be happy to work with you and your group to find book choices that you're likely to enjoy; or check out lists of awards such as The Pulitzer Prize, Booker Prize and National Book Awards.
It's unlikely that everybody will agree on every book choice every time. Make it clear when the group is set up, and when new members join, that a majority vote will carry - encourage members to treat new genres or authors with an open mind - after all most people join a book club to expand their reading experience.
Be mindful of genre burnout - don't stay with the same list/theme for too long, or take a break every now and then with a book that breaks the mold.
Select your books at least two to three meetings ahead of time, so that you have plenty of time to read them (and potentially to borrow from the library or share copies amongst the group). Some groups plan their entire year's reading at one meeting, others prefer to stay just a few books ahead.
However, be cautious of committing to books too far ahead as the mood and interests of the group might change over time and you could find yourselves tied into a book or genre that is no longer of interest to the group.
At least for the first few meetings, choose reasonably short books (leave War and Peace for a later meeting!) with a ready prepared reading guide. Avoid books that are bound to become controversial (e.g. religion and politics) until the group members have had time to get to know each other.

「冰凍三尺,非一日之寒」。英語寫作能力並不是一蹴而就的。它必須由淺入深,由簡到繁,有易到難,循序漸進,一環扣一環地進行訓練。如單元訓練是學生制定寫作計劃的主要內容。節假日,慶典活動是豐富寫作計劃的必修科目。英語競賽或來自生活的體驗 是寫作計劃的補充。每學期開學初,我要認真閱讀學生的寫作計劃,指導學生抓住主要的和次要的內容,理出一條寫作的線索,讓學生有目的,有計劃的進行寫作訓練。
二、嚴格要求書寫規范
書寫規范是英語寫作必須要做到的。從初學英語開始,就應培養學生寫字母、單詞、句子、文章規范的好習慣。如:每學期開學,我總讓學生在第一次寫作本上,寫兩遍26個字母的大小寫。不分年級,年年如此。時刻提醒學生注意書寫規則,在平時批閱作文時,發現問題,及時糾正。採用英語書法展、英語寫字比賽等方法培養興趣,養成寫字規范的習慣。
三、詞彙語法寫作基礎
打好語言基礎就是要讓學生掌握較為豐富的詞彙和基本的語言規范。離開了詞彙談寫作,好比無米之炊,乃巧婦難以為之。離開了句子規范,縱有千千詞彙,也是詞不達意。在實踐中,我發現許多學生的錯誤句子。如:1、My 最喜愛的 subject is 歷史。2、I see a cat run into the room yesterday.3、I don』t know where is the pen?等。例1中,學生有兩個單詞寫不出來。在後兩個例句中,學生已經掌握了需要的單詞,但是在句法上出了錯。第2例反映出對時態把握不夠好,以及對「find sb. doingsth.」把握不夠。第3例問題出現在賓語從句的語序上。所以,要寫好作文,必須先掌握一定的詞彙和語法知識。
四、做好筆記積累素材
每學期開學前,讓學生准備一個摘抄英語好詞、好句、好文章的筆記本。開始,由教師引導,慢慢習慣了讓學生自己去找感興趣的詞句,並分文歸類。如:描寫人物、興趣愛好、體育運動、節日、飲食、名人名言、格言、諺語等,分別記在筆記本自定的地方。有心去記,就有心去寫,時間長了,拿來即用,想起可寫。學生們嘗到了小小筆記本的好處,便愛不釋手,越記越好,越感實用。特別是每日一句學英語,這是我多年來一直要求學生做到的習慣。一天背記一句英語,一年365句,三年就是1095句。對一個初中學生來說,不論口語和寫作水平都有不同程度的提高。
五、課文復述練筆改寫
復述是一種創造性的綜合思維訓練,它能有效地將理解分析和表達統一起來,為學生提供了語言實踐的機會,提高了學生的思維能力,語言表達和語言運用能力。學過一篇感興趣的課文,或一個單元感興趣的話題,都可以通過改寫、復述課文等方法去練筆。即培養了口語表達能力,又練習培養了英語的寫作習慣。如:在教學七年級(下)第一單元時,我讓學生復述Danny, Jenny and Li Ming 「Trip to Beijing」這一過程。故事很完整,又是學生們熟悉的單元話題,易記易理解,更增加了趣味性,調節了課堂氣氛,培養了語感,同時又提高了寫作水平。背誦部分文段也是寫好文章的途徑。如:我要求九年級學生背誦課本第三 單元的內容。在後來的作文中,絕大多數詞語借用了所背文段中的句子。原文中有這樣一句:You can always find surfers out riding the waves.而在學生作文中則出現了以下一些句子:I saw a cat runningintotheroom .They found the bird singing in the tree. I found a policeman standing at the gate…而且這些句子都正確,避免了非謂語動詞不加ing的現象。學生們通過擴寫或改寫,既臉灸人口,又不露抄襲痕跡,還避免了語法錯誤,何樂而不為呢?
六、範文朗讀語言積累
一學期舉辦一次範文朗讀、演講比賽。開學布置任務,要求學生們很認真去准備,精挑細選,查閱資料,去找優秀範文。每個人經過細心准備,說出了一口流利標準的英語。同時也為自己和同學們示範出了高質量的優秀範文。開闊了視野,增長了許多課外知識。如:九年級的王澤旭同學,在同級比賽活動中,演講的題目是:My Future 獲得了一等獎。那陣陣掌聲讓我感到了一份成功的喜悅。
七、豐富生活寫作之源
來自真實生活的寫作更感人。如:描寫「My Father」 ,一個學生是這樣寫的:I am an unhappy boy. My parents often fight with each other at night . I am scared every day. Because my father is a drink man .He comes home very late every evening .I am sad…讀了這篇作文,心裡很難過。想起了這個孩子天真的臉和童雅的心。深深吸引著我,也感動著其他同學。語句很簡單,質朴,說出了發自內心的心裡話,給人留下了深深地印象。可見,豐富的生活,是寫作之源。有豐富的生活體驗,學生寫出來的作文更具有感染力。
八、認真批閱指導技巧
堅持每周寫一篇作文。教師要親自批閱部分作文,一是為了更清楚地了解學生寫作狀況,二是為了更好的指導學生修改作文。尤其是對後進生而言。這樣的方法更有效。有的同學的作文寫的很多,句子也沒錯,可讀起來總覺得別扭。那是因為這些作文的語言不豐富,少有變化,一個句型用到底。請看這篇作文,要求學生寫自己的愛好:I like playingbasketballvery much . I like swimming. I like running. I like flying a kite… 寫的很長,念完後感覺更像念一組句子。如果修改一下,則截然不同:I like playingbasketball , but only a little . I also like swimming and running. What about flying a kite? Oh, I am not sure. Because sometimes I like it verymuch , but sometimes I don』t like it at all…在修改後,增加了一些連接詞,可不要小看他們的點綴作用。還增加了一些過渡詞,避免了連續出現同一類的句子,使文章充滿美感。
培養學生英語寫作習慣,從制定計劃、書寫規范、打好基礎、英語摘抄、範文朗讀、體驗生活等方面抓起,學生的英語寫作習慣就會得到培養。
